Well T-Mobile is finally getting with the program. Nun T-Mobile ist endlich mit dem Programm. They have just announced 3G UMTS/HSDPA support in New York with a continued rollout in major markets throughout the year. Sie haben gerade angekündigt, 3G UMTS / HSDPA-Unterstützung in New York mit einem anhaltenden Rollout in wichtigen Märkten das ganze Jahr über.
The only thing that concerns me is the fact that every carrier is trying to run 3G on a different frequency. Das einzige, was mir Sorge macht, ist die Tatsache, dass jeder Träger versuchen, 3G auf einer anderen Frequenz. This means that roaming with 3G is going to be a serious pain in the @$$. I have not had a chance to look into it fully but T-mobile seems to be rolling out on the 1700Mhz AWS spectrum which is totally different than the ones used by AT&T and even Europe. The best part about T-Mobile used to be that you could import cool handsets that work on their GSM network.
