Laptop Magazine Asks – Trackball OR Scroll Wheel?
Joanna Stern & Jeff Wilson of Laptop Magazine got together for a Political BlackBerry debate. One argues for the trackball and one for the scroll wheel of old. They both bring up great points on each side but it is safe to assume that the scroll wheel is dead and buried. I guess there are still some die hard scroll wheel users out there.
It reminds me of this guy I ran into on the train once who still had a RIM 950/970. I guess habit dies hard.

Just remember the track wheel is the origin of BlackBerry thumb. 
Personally I vote for the Trackball. It makes browsing websites that much easier. Not to mention the fact that you don’t have to hit alt-scroll to scroll down in the application ribbon.
