I can’t believe no one mentioned ING Direct, which has an excellent mobile site, which allows you to do everything that you can do on their regular website.

Example of something that is very cool. I was in a foreign country and needed to withdraw some funds from my ING Direct account using a local ATM. When I checked the balance on my checking account I didn’t have enough funds in it. So I logged onto ING’s mobile site, made an instant transfer from my savings into my checking and was able to get as much cash out of the ATM as I needed.

Does not work in the Pacific Northwest. BofA acquires SeaFirst here years ago but still uses their crappy back-end systems. So online banking lacks compared to the rest of the country and zero mobile access.

USAA has https://mobile.usaa.com

Gets you access to current balances and recent transactions, which are good things to have from the road. Looks like they just added bill paying and online trade capability, too.

If you have car insurance through them, you can also request insurance cards to be faxed to you.

I tried using their mobi site a while ago and it used to say you cannot logon using a blackberry device….guess they fixed it.

Suntrust & Wachovia are a couple that also offer moble banking. As well as the shortcut on your BB homescreen.

I have been using their mobi site for several months now. Find it very useful and helpful to pay bills on the go. One day my bookmark stopped working. I thought the site was taken down. Turns out they changed the URL and for ease I just installed their shortcut and all works great now. I have personally always been impressed with how much BoA offers in terms of online services, and their mobi site is just in line with all that.
