Unyvers wordt Upvise - met een waarde van Een andere Blik
Ik ken wij vermelde Unyverse terug in December maar sommige ernstige veranderingen zijn sindsdien aangebracht die waarborgvermelding. Eerst en vooral veranderden zij hun naam in Upvise nadat zij begonnen naar bedrijfsklanten te streven. Mijn favoriete eigenschap dat ik op dit ogenblik probeer is de capaciteit om een het winkelen lijst op hun website te creëren en dan tot het toegang te hebben van uw Blackberry. U kunt uw contacten van uw Blackberry in de toepassing en hun website ook invoeren. Vrij koel materiaal!!!

Against my better judgment from what I expected, I installed Upvise, and I’m actually pretty impressed. I easily created a new Upvise account from my BB, imported my BlackBerry contacts to my Upvise account, added some RSS feeds, and went through all the settings and options. Pretty slick! I already have the Wikipedia link (supplied from BerryReview’s OTA links) so the Wiki part of Upvise isn’t that useful, but it’s interface for getting are reading Wiki articles is actually very nice, and in time I think I’ll prefer it. Well done!

Oh, I remember this application. It was called Unyverse. I was really interested in it, but it didn’t work on a BIS connection. And still doesn’t.

Can anyone completely disable all other possible connections and confirm that this new beta can connect through BIS? It isn’t working for me. It still tells me:
“The device could not initialize the connection”

Just found another potential bug with BIS connection with Upvise. And corrected it.
Could you remove Upvise on your phone and redownload again from: http://beta.upvise.com ?
Please let me know if it works this time.
BTW what it your carrier and phone model?

Alright! After a little exchange with Thierry, Upvise finally works over my BIS-only connection.
This application has a number of rough edges, a lot of room for improvement, but so much potential I could spend the whole day talking about it. These guys have something really smart going on here. Everything still very incipient, but clearly there. Let’s see where it is heading and how much it will deliver.
