New Blackberry line running late? Nieuwe Blackberry lijn laat?

Apparently the new line of Blackberry devices will be late, whatever that means since we've never been given any release schedule anyway. Blijkbaar is de nieuwe lijn van Blackberry-apparaten zal te laat, wat dat betekent, omdat we nooit hebben gekregen een introductie schema toch. The first rumors we heard on the street about the new Blackberries was that RIM was having trouble with 3G and battery life, and that has been De eerste geruchten hoorden we op straat over de nieuwe Bramen was dat RIM had moeite met 3G en levensduur van de batterij, en dat is more or less confirmed min of meer bevestigd . . Research in Motion (RIMM) is facing a delay with the introduction of its new hotly anticipated 3G BlackBerry phone for AT&T (ATT). Research in Motion (RIMM) wordt geconfronteerd met een vertraging met de introductie van haar nieuwe langverwachte 3G BlackBerry-telefoon voor AT & T (ATT).

The release of the phone, apparently named Meteor, has been pushed to as late as August, from the planned June launch, say people close to the companies. I don't mind being put on hold about a completely new line of products. Ik ben het niet erg om in de wachtstand gezet over een geheel nieuwe lijn van producten. There must be a lot of strategic positioning and decision making involved, but would it hurt anyone if we were better informed of what the heck is still holding that 4.5 OS? Er moet een veel strategische positionering en besluitvorming betrokken, maar zou het kwaad iemand als we beter werden op de hoogte van wat de heck is nog steeds te oordelen dat 4,5 OS? It's no secret anymore, screenshots and even quasi reviews have been published on the internets, why can't RIM let us in on what is taking so long? Het is geen geheim meer, screenshots en zelfs quasi beoordelingen zijn gepubliceerd op de internets, waarom kan RIM laten we in op wat er zo lang? The prompt release of OS 4.5 would keep Blackberry fans deeply entertained for quite a while and the wait for the new line wouldn't seem so long, don't you think? De onmiddellijke vrijlating van OS 4.5 zou houden Blackberry fans diep vermaakt al een tijdje en het wachten op de nieuwe lijn zou nog niet zo lang lijken, vind je niet?

    Totally agree. Helemaal mee eens. We need OS 4.5 (aka 4.3) now!! We moeten OS 4.5 (aka 4.3) nu!

    Hmm, doesn't the Sprint version of the Pearl (8130) already have 3G (EVDO)? Hmm, niet de Sprint-versie van de Pearl (8130) al 3G (EVDO)? Why is the HSDPA on AT&T any more battery draining? Waarom is de HSDPA op AT & T meer batterij aftappen?

    I am SO wanting OS 4.5, primarily in hopes that the memory leak in OS 4.2 has been discovered and fixed! Ik ben zo wil OS 4.5, voornamelijk in de hoop dat het geheugen lek in OS 4.2 is ontdekt en opgelost!

    Reports all over the net are that 3G GSM seems to be much more of a battery hog than EVDO. Verslagen over het net zijn dat 3G GSM blijkt veel meer van een batterij varken dan EVDO. It's believed to also be what's also holding up a 3G iPhone, though I saw a rumor this morning that will be out in the June timeframe. Het is vermoedelijk ook worden wat ook het bezit van een 3G iPhone, hoewel ik een gerucht zag vanmorgen dat zal uit in de juni tijdsbestek. Not so sure EVDO is even technically considered to be “3G”, unless maybe it IS if it's EVDO Rev A, but no Blackberry has Rev A yet. Niet zo zeker EVDO is zelfs technisch beschouwd als "3G", tenzij misschien is het als het EVDO Rev A, maar geen Blackberry heeft Rev A toegevoegd. : (

    Interesting article, David. Interessant artikel, David. Makes me wonder even more what the real reasons for the delay are. Makes me wonder nog meer wat de werkelijke redenen voor de vertraging zijn. Other sites have been speculating it has to do with the iPhone. Andere sites zijn speculeren het te maken heeft met de iPhone. I think it's possible, but unlikely. Ik denk dat het mogelijk, maar onwaarschijnlijk.

    Forbes (via Fierce Wireless) is calling it an 8900? Forbes (via Fierce Wireless) roept het een 8900? And that the holdup is due to “voice quality”? En dat de hold-up te wijten is aan "voice kwaliteit"?

    I read BlackBerry blogs religiously. Ik lees BlackBerry blogs religieus. I'm always in the know of the latest BBs, somehow I missed the boat on this one. Ik ben altijd op de hoogte van de nieuwste BBS, een of andere manier miste ik de boot op deze.
