Alpine Car Media Player Alpine Car Media Player
I installed an Alpine iDA-X001 media player in my work van about 6 months or so ago and until recently, have not tried it for playing music directly from my BlackBerry Curve. Although I have it running through about 1200 watts of amplifiers, subwoofers and speakers, I’m not going to do a review of sound quality as I will leave that to the numerous audio websites and forums. The head unit comes with 2 connection cables. Der Kopf Gerät wird mit 2 Anschlusskabel. One for an iPod connection and the other with a USB port in which you can plug a USB to Mini-USB cable into. The Alpine iDA-X001 is a digital media player only (as well as an AM/FM radio) and doesn’t include a CD player of any sort. Die Alpenkonferenz Ida-X001 ist ein digitaler Media-Player nur (wie auch ein AM / FM-Radio) und enthält keinen CD-Spieler aller Art. The controls are not un-similar to those on a Classic Apple iPod with a dial acting the same as the ‘ClickWheel’. Die Steuerung ist nicht un-ähnlich wie in einem Classic Apple iPod mit einem dial Handeln der gleiche wie der "ClickWheel".
My main source of music was coming from my Apple iPhone and this works very well with integration between the 2 seamless. Meine wichtigste Quelle für Musik war aus meiner Apple iPhone und das funktioniert sehr gut mit der Integration zwischen 2 nahtlos. The BlackBerry however, is a little different in the way it operates on the High Res Alpine screen. With the Apple iPhone, you get all your ‘Albums’, ‘Genre’, ‘Artists’ and recent playlists. Mit der Apple iPhone, erhalten Sie alle Ihre "Alben", "Genre", "Künstler" und die jüngsten Wiedergabelisten. But with the BlackBerry you get none of these privileges. Aber mit dem BlackBerry erhalten Sie keine dieser Privilegien. Just a list of the songs you have stored on your media card. They play fine on the Alpine unit and you can zip through your song list using the Alpine control wheel but unless you are the type why just likes to hit the ‘Shuffle’ icon then this can be a real pain in the butt. This unit is primarily designed for use with an Apple iPod and with that it works just fine. Dieses Gerät ist in erster Linie für den Einsatz mit einem Apple iPod und damit es funktioniert gut. But if you want/need to use it with a BlackBerry it will get the job done with just a whole heap less features… Aber wenn Sie wollen / müssen, nutzen Sie sie mit einem BlackBerry, wird die Arbeit mit nur einer ganzen Haufen weniger Features…

What you described is how a standard flash drive works–which is exactly what the blackberry was to the Alpine. Was Sie beschreiben, wie ein Standard-Flash-Laufwerk arbeitet-der ist genau das, was die Brombeere war dem Alpine. Blackberries cannot play music through the USB port; they will however connect to anything that looks like a computer and offer the mass storage to it. Brombeeren kann nicht spielen Musik über den USB-Port, sie wird jedoch eine Verbindung zu etwas, das aussieht wie ein Computer oder verschenken Sie die Massenspeicher zu.
Are your music files stored all in the music folder or do you have them organized into subfolders? Sind Ihre Musik-Dateien gespeichert, alle in den Ordner "Musik" oder haben Sie sie in Unterordnern organisiert?
I play music from my Blackberry in my car every day. Ich spiele meine Musik aus Black, in mein Auto jeden Tag. I connect the auxilary input jack in the car stero from the headphone jack in the blackberry and this combination plays my 320kbps MP3s very nicely. Ich verbinden die auxilary Eingangsbuchse im Auto stero aus der Kopfhörerbuchse auf der Brombeere und diese Kombination spielt meine 320kbps MP3s sehr schön. Of course I do need to control the music from the blackberry and control the volume from the stereo. Natürlich werde ich brauchen, um die Musik aus dem BlackBerry und die Lautstärke der Stereoanlage aus.

I totally agree with you, the BlackBerry is only being used as a storage platform. Ich stimme völlig mit Ihnen, dem BlackBerry wird nur verwendet als Storage-Plattform.
You can control the file selection from the Alpine head unit that is what makes it different from others. Sie können die Datei-Auswahl aus dem Alpine-Kopf-Einheit, ist das, was unterscheidet sie von anderen unterscheidet.
And, yes I have all my music on my Curve sorted into Albums but the unit does not recognize the album, just the song. Und, ja, ich habe alle meine Musik auf meinem Curve sortiert in Alben, aber das Gerät nicht erkennt das Album, nur der Gesang.

Ditch the blackberry and get an iPhone. Graben die Brombeere und erhalten Sie ein iPhone. Not only is the iPhone a far better and trendsetting music player (it’s an iPod) it’s also a far better phone and a phenomenally better internet browser. Nicht nur ist das iPhone eine weitaus bessere und zukunftsweisende Musik-Player (es ist ein iPod), wird es auch eine weit bessere Telefon und einem phänomenal besser Internet-Browser. There is no comparison to a blackberry, except that the iPhone makes the blackberry look extremely primitive. Es ist kein Vergleich zu einer Brombeere, es sei denn, dass die iPhone macht die BlackBerry-Look extrem primitiv.

I don’t agree the iPhone is a “far better phone” than a Blackberry, but to each his own! Ich stimme nicht zu den iPhone ist ein "wesentlich besser phone" als ein Blackberry, aber jeder seine eigenen! I guess if you’re in an area where ATT provides best cellular coverage one could argue, but since you can’t use an iPhone on CDMA and CDMA has “far better” coverage here where I live, I’ll take my Blackberry as a “far better phone” over an iPhone any day. Ich schätze, wenn man in einem Bereich, in dem AT & T bietet beste Mobilfunk-Abdeckung könnte man einwenden, aber da kann man nicht verwenden, ein iPhone auf CDMA und CDMA hat "weit besser" Abdeckung hier, wo ich lebe, werde ich meinerseits als Blackberry eine "weit besser phone" über ein iPhone jeden Tag möglich.
I’m guessing an iPod Touch would integrate as well as the article indicates an iPhone does? Ich bin ein Ratespiel iPod Touch würde integrieren sowie die Artikelnummer zeigt ein iPhone funktioniert?
It would be nice there was a head unit that could connect to a BB via Bluetooth and control the music via A/V Remote Control. Es wäre schön, es war ein Kopf-Einheit, könnte die Verbindung zu einem BB über Bluetooth und Kontrolle der Musik über die A / V Remote Control.
Does the BB recharge when connected to this Alpine like this? Ist die BB aufladen, wenn das Gerät an diesem alpinen davon? At least if it isn’t an ideally integrated solution if it eliminated the need for a car charger that would be a plus. Zumindest, wenn es sich nicht um eine integrierte Lösung ideal, wenn sie eliminiert die Notwendigkeit für eine Kfz-Ladegerät, das wäre ein Plus.

Just following up. Genau das Follow-up. Do you have your music sorted in multiple subfolders by album AND the metatags on each file identifying the appropriate album? Haben Sie Ihre Musik sortiert in mehreren Unterordnern von Album und die Metatags auf jede Datei die geeignete Album? If you have both set appropriately and still have this issue then the Alpine is lacking. Wenn Sie beide passend gesetzt wurden und immer noch haben dieses Problem dann den Alpen fehlt. If you want a great free MP3 tag editor you can go to Wenn Sie möchten, dass eine große Free MP3-Tag-Editor können Sie auf http://www.mp3tag.de . Werden. Even though the website is in German the product is in English (if I remember correctly you select the language upon installation). Auch wenn die Website ist auf Deutsch das Produkt ist in Englisch (wenn ich mich richtig erinnere Sie die Sprache nach der eigentlichen Installation).
