One feature I’ve always wanted to have in my Blackberry is the ability to “speed dial” a Web site. ومن سمات لقد أراد دائما أن يكون في بلدي ك هو القدرة على "سريع" موقع على شبكة الانترنت. I already can press and hold the letter “h” to call Halevy or hold “m” to call Myers, but all letters of the alphabet are available and I don’t need that many speed dial slots. سبق لي ان الصحافة ويمكن ان تعقد الحرف "ح" halevy او الدعوة الى عقد "ميم" الدعوة الى مايرز ، ولكن كل الحروف الابجديه متوفره ولست بحاجة الى ان كثيرا من الطلب السريع فتحات. I surely could spend some of those letters on sites I check often, like Google. ومن المؤكد انني يمكن ان تنفق بعض تلك الرسائل على مواقع لي فحص كثير من الأحيان ، مثل غوغل. I wish I could press and hold “g” and have the phone launch Google in the browser immediately. اتمنى ان الصحافة وعقد "ز" وصور اطلاق الهاتف في المتصفح على الفور. GoogHelper is the next best thing. Googhelper المقبل هو افضل شيء.

GoogHelper is a sort of hard wired search assistant, so it won’t adapt to just about any site like a “speed dial” feature would, but it does help search things faster in a given set of pre-configured (hard wired) Web sites. Googhelper هو نوع من البحث الشاق السلكيه مساعد ، لذا لن التكيف مع عادل عن أي موقع مثل "سريع" من شأنه ان ميزة ، ولكنه اسرع للمساعدة بحث الأمور في مجموعة معينة من تهيئتها مسبقا (مثير بشدة) على الشبكه العالمية المواقع. Instead of launching the browser, browsing the bookmarks or history, waiting for Google to open and finally type in your query, you just launch GoogHelper and type in your query. وبدلا من البدء في المتصفح ، او الاشارات المرجعيه يتصفح التاريخ ، والانتظار لحين فتح صور واخيرا في نوع الاستفسار ، انت فقط اطلاق googhelper ونوع في الاستفسار.

After you type in your query, you must click the button corresponding to the site where you want to run your search. أكتب لكم بعد الاستفسار ، يجب ان اضغط على الزر المقابل لموقع حيث كنت تريد تشغيل البحث. The two buttons at the top are (or at least look like) “Web” and “SMS”. الزرين هي في اعلى (أو على الأقل تبدو) "الويب" و "الرسائل القصيره". The Web button will submit your query to Google. الشبكه العالمية سوف زر لتقديم الاستفسار صور. I assume the SMS will apply your query to Google and send the results back to you via SMS in case your phone doesn’t have a Web browser. انا تحمل الرسائل القصيره وسوف تطبق استفسارك الى صور وارسال النتائج الى لك عبر الرسائل القصيره في حالة هاتفك لا يكون لها متصفح ويب. I can only assume because there is no documentation whatsoever. لا يسعني إلا أن نفترض أنه لا توجد وثائق على الاطلاق. Even at Iambic’s site, all I found was the acknowledgement that documentation is not available yet. حتى في الايامبي موقع ، وقد وجدت كل ذلك التسليم بأن الوثائق ليست متاحة بعد. I tried that SMS button, but nothing happened, probably because I am not in the United States. حاولت ان الرسائل القصيره على زر ، ولكن شيئا لم يحدث ، ربما لأنني لست في الولايات المتحدة.

That SMS button is the only slightly obscure thing about GoogHelper though. ان الرسائل القصيره على زر هو الا قليلا عن شيء غامض على الرغم من googhelper. Everything else is too simple and straightforward. كل شيء آخر ايضا هو بسيط ومباشر. The Mobile button will submit your query to the mobile version of Google. زر سوف المتنقله تقديم الاستفسار الى صيغة صور المتحركه. The Images button will submit your query to the Images section of Google. News , Maps , Groups and Gmail are also related to Google, but GoogHelper will resort to other sites too. الصور سوف زر تقديم الاستفسار لقسم الصور من صور واخبار ، والخرائط ، والجماعات وبريد جوجل وتتعلق ايضا صور ، ولكن سوف googhelper اللجوء الى مواقع اخرى ايضا. For example, the Books button will submit your query to Amazon, and the Wiki button will submit your query to Wikipedia. فعلى سبيل المثال ، كتب على زر سوف يقدم استفسارك الى الامازون ، وسوف يكي زر لتقديم الاستفسار ويكيبيديا.

As soon as you click the corresponding button, your query is submitted, so your default browser is launched. بمجرد النقر على الزر المقابل ، يقدم الاستفسار ، حتى الافتراضيه الخاصة بك لمتصفح اطلق. Probably the Blackberry browser. ربما ك المتصفح. This is pretty much the summary of everything GoogHelper can do. هذه هي جميلة كثيرا موجز googhelper كل شيء يمكن ان نفعله. It’s not a lot of things, but the one thing it does is very useful indeed. انها ليست الكثير من الاشياء ، لكن شيئا واحدا هو أنها مفيدة جدا في الحقيقة.

Now here comes the obligatory complaint section. الآن وهنا يدخل قسم الشكاوى الزاميه. There are three things I found disappointing about GoogHelper: وهناك ثلاثة اشياء وجدت مخيبه للامال عن googhelper :

Imbic has incurred some nasty oversight regarding the format and encoding of queries. وقد تكبد بعض imbic مقرف الرقابة فيما يتعلق بشكل والترميز من الاستفسارات. For example, you can’t enclose your query or part of it in quotation marks, a very common search query feature. فعلى سبيل المثال ، لا يمكنك ان ارفق الاستفسار او جزء منه بين علامتي تنصيص ، شاءعه جدا عند البحث عن عبارة الميزه. Try googling for berry review then “berry review” (with quotations) and you will see how much difference it makes. Googling محاولة لاستعراض ثم بيري "استعراض بيري" (مع الاسعار) وسترون كيف انه يجعل الكثير من الفرق. GoogHelper doesn’t handle that appropriately, so Google returns an error page. Googhelper أن لا يتعامل بشكل مناسب ، حتى صور العودة خطأ في الصفحه. Quotations are forbidden as a result. ويحظر على الاسعار نتيجة لذلك. There is a similar problem with Wikipedia. وثمة مشكلة مماثلة مع ويكيبيديا. Look for Oscar Wilde or “Oscar Wilde” in Wikipedia with GoogHelper and you will get an error page that will force you to click a link and run another search or maybe even type your query in all over again. البحث عن أوسكار وايلد أو "أوسكار وايلد" في ويكيبيديا مع googhelper وتحصل على خطأ في الصفحه التي ستكون قوة لكم على انقر على ارتباط تشغيل وبحث آخر أو ربما حتى نوع الاستفسار في جميع انحاء مرة اخرى. Wikipedia expects Oscar_Wilde , with underscores instead of spaces. وتتوقع ويكيبيديا oscar_wilde ، ويؤكد بدلا من المساحات. Look for Oscar_Wilde in Wikipedia with GoogHelper and you will land perfectly into the expected page. البحث عن oscar_wilde في ويكيبيديا مع googhelper وسوف تماما في الاراضي المتوقعة الصفحه.

That really ticked me off. ان لي حقا من مدقوق. How amateurish can you be? كيف يمكنك ان تكون amateurish؟ If we know that Wikipedia behaves like that, why not replace those spaces automatically before submitting the query? اذا علمنا ان ويكيبيديا ان تتصرف مثل ، لماذا لا تحل محل تلك المساحات تلقائيا قبل عرضه على الاستفسار؟ Six years ago, when I was taking my first baby steps in script programming, I made a programatically-driven tool that ran searches in Google in a very similar fashion to that of GoogHelper. قبل ست سنوات ، عندما كنت اول طفل اتخاذ خطوات البرمجه في البرنامج النصي ، ولقد تقدمت programatically اداة يحركها ، مخالفا تفتيش في صور في غاية بطريقة مماثلة لتلك التي googhelper. I was totally wet behind the ears, but I immediately took notice of that problem so my humble little tool took good care of that already. كنت تماما خلف الاذنين والرطبه ، ولكني على الفور اخطار هذه المشكلة حتى بلدي المتواضع القليل اداة اتخذ من ان الرعايه الجيدة بالفعل. What is the matter with these developers? ما هي هذه المساله مع مطورين؟ Do they not use Google? أولم استخدام صور؟ Are they not familiar with the ubiquitous quotation feature? انها لم تكن مالوفه في كل مكان مع اقتباس الميزه؟ Did they ever test GoogHelper on Wikipedia and try to figure out why the queries didn’t quite work as expected? وهل من اي وقت مضى على ويكيبيديا googhelper اختبار ومحاولة لاكتشاف لماذا لم الاستفسارات العمل تماما كما كان متوقعا؟

I ran into another problem, although a much less important one. انا واجهت مشكلة أخرى ، وإن كان أقل أهمية بكثير. The old version of GoogHelper I had installed had a “Check Updates” feature. النسخه القديمة من googhelper كنت قد ركبت كان "التحقق من التحديثات" الميزه. It was really nasty then because it would freeze my Blackberry so badly I had to pull the battery and reboot. ومن ثم مقرف حقا لان من شأنه ان تجميد بلادي العليق بشدة واضطررت الى اخراج البطاريه واعادة التشغيل. In this newer version of GoogHelper, that feature won’t freeze my phone anymore, but it still doesn’t work. وفي هذا إصدار جديد من googhelper ، ان الميزه لن تجميد هاتفي بعد الآن ، ولكنه لا يزال لا يعمل. Just look at the screenshot: فقط انظر إلى الصورة :

Finally, some of the buttons, like Tags , Blogs and PDAhp never seem to return anything useful to me. واخيرا ، فان بعض من الازرار ، مثل العلامات ، وبلوق pdahp ابدا ويبدو ان العودة الى اي شيء مفيد لي. I wish I could just delete them and free up screen space. اتمنى ان تحذف منها فقط والافراج عن الشاشه الفضاءيه. And I missed other important sites like وانا ضاعت مثل غيرها من المواقع الهامة IMDB (via Google with site:imdb added to the query at the very least) and a couple of dictionaries. (مع صور عن طريق الموقع : IMDB تضاف الى الاستفسار على أقل تقدير) واثنين من القواميس. I wish I could actually customize the query strings generated by each button and add my own buttons, but then I’m afraid the program would lose simplicity, therefore some of its appeal. اتمنى ان فعلا تخصيص استفسار الجمل المتولد من كل زر واضافة ازرار بلدي ، ولكن بعد ذلك اخشي ان البرنامج من شأنه ان يفقد البساطه ، ولذلك بعض من ندائها.

Pros: it is useful indeed; you will be able to run search queries faster in most cases. الايجابيات : ومن المفيد حقا ؛ ستتمكن من تشغيل عبارات البحث اسرع في معظم الحالات.

Cons: bugs in the query strings as they’re submitted to the browser; buttons are not configurable. الدستوري : البق في الطلب على الاوتار كما انهم المقدمة الى المتصفح ؛ أزرار ليست للتهيئة.

My rating: 7. بلدي تصنيف : 7. The program is useful, but Iambic really has to fix that query string problem. البرنامج مفيد ، ولكن الايامبي حقا أن تحدد ان عبارة طلب المشكلة. It is embarrassing. ومن احراج. As soon as they fix it, I will rate it 9 because the buttons can’t be configured. بمجرد تصحيح الأمر ، فإنني على سعر 9 لان الازرار لا يمكن ان يكون تكوينها.
