Καταπληκτική επιτυχία!! Ελεύθερο λογισμικό ναυσιπλοΐας ΠΣΤ με τη φωνή; Σχεδόν ηχεί πάρα πολύ καλός να είναι αληθινός…. αλλά Nav4All κάνει την αξίωση. Όλη που χρειάζεστε είναι ένα βατόμουρο που εξοπλίζονται με το ΠΣΤ και μια αίσθηση της περιπέτειας.
Είναι τόσο καλό όσο TeleNav σε δέκα δολάρια μηνιαίως; Μετά από να εξετάσω πρέπει να πω ότι έρχεται αρκετά καταριέται κοντά. Αν και η διεπαφή είναι λίγο βασική έχει πραγματικά τα χαρακτηριστικά γνωρίσματα TeleNav δεν έχει. Το Nav4All έχει όλα τα χαρακτηριστικά γνωρίσματα TeleNav έχει όπως στροφή από τη στροφή οι κατευθύνσεις φωνής καθώς επίσης και μια πυξίδα. Τα σημεία του ενδιαφέροντος, της διαδρομής άποψης και της διεύθυνσης αναζήτησης είναι επίσης εκεί. Το Nav4All είναι διεθνής και πολυ γλώσσα. Μπορείτε εύκολα να μεταστρέψετε μεταξύ των χιλιομέτρων και των μιλι'ων. «Πλοηγήστε» στις επιλογές σας δίνει πολλές επιλογές συμπεριλαμβανομένης της πλοήγησης σε μια θέση και τις συντεταγμένες ΠΣΤ.
Χαρακτηριστικά γνωρίσματα όπως «πού είναι Ι; », «σημαία-εσύ» και «το σχέδιο από το Α στο Β» είναι συμπαθητικά. Συμπαθώ επίσης «θυμάμαι τη θέση μου» και «θυμηθείτε τα διαστημικά» χαρακτηριστικά γνωρίσματα χώρων στάθμευσής μου. Ο διευθετήσιμος όγκος φωνής είναι α συν.
Υπάρχει ένα διευθετήσιμο φως που θέτει για μέρα νύχτα, αν και η άποψη νύχτας είναι λίγο ενθυμίζουσα μιας άλαλης τελικής συνόδου που είναι εύκολα viewable στο σκοτάδι.
Υπάρχουν εννέα διαφορετικές οδηγώντας μορφές προσφερθείσες. Ι για το ένα ειδικά όπως το ύφος διαδρομών ποδηλάτων που είναι ποδηλάτης ο ίδιος. Οι χάρτες είναι επίσης λίγο βασικοί αλλά αποτελεσματικοί. Όλος εν λόγω και που γίνεται αυτό συγκρίνει καλά με τους χάρτες βατόμουρων και τους χάρτες Google. Οι χάρτες Google έχουν τις δορυφορικές απόψεις που Nav4All όχι.
Η η στροφή από τη στροφή οθόνη ναυσιπλοΐας είναι πάλι λίγο απλή αλλά κόσμιη. Μόνο το ζήτημα που έχω είναι εδώ ο χρόνος παρουσιάζει στο στρατιωτικό χρόνο και δεν επιδεικνύει ETA σας.
Εντούτοις συμπαθώ τον κατάλογο γρήγορων κουμπιών. Όποιοι σας δίνουν την εύκολη πρόσβαση στα χαρακτηριστικά γνωρίσματα.
Το Nav4All προσφέρει επίσης μια πολύ συμπαθητική υπηρεσία Ιστού αποκαλούμενη «κόσμο μου». Επίσης ελεύθερο, επιτρέπει σε σας για να δημιουργήσει ένα σχεδιάγραμμα και να μοιραστεί τις όλες πληροφορίες ταξιδιού σας με την οικογένεια και τους φίλους, όπως οι διαδρομές, οι θέσεις, οι εικόνες και οι χάρτες. Μπορείτε να στείλετε ή να λάβετε τα μηνύματα στους φίλους και σε άλλα μέλη, blog ακόμα και. Δημιουργήστε τους χάρτες και τις θέσεις καταστημάτων σας. Υπάρχει widgets εσείς μπορεί να χρησιμοποιήσει για να συνδέσει το σχεδιάγραμμα, blog, τις εικόνες, τους χάρτες και τις θέσεις σας από άλλες ιστοσελίδας. “My World” is a very nice freebie.
On the negative side the routes it provides are sometimes a bit dicey but generally pretty good. You can note navigation errors with the “Flag it” option or on your “My World” profile. The never ending scrolling on the menus can get a bit annoying as well. The menus at times can be a bit awkward and probably take some getting use too. Big negatives are it does not use street names nor does it supply traffic updates. I guess that is what you pay Telenav ten dollars a month for. If you were thinking of paying for Telenav you may want to check out Nav4All first. Nav4All also allows you to freely distribute the program even to corporate users. Not many companies do that….Overall I say it’s a bargain, but only until 2010, so take advantage.

Nav4All also offers…
* Unique power-saving: Nav4All turns off the screen during driving, and switches it back on when new instructions are received, whilst allowing you enough time.
* Re-calc route - if you go off-course, Nav4All automatically calculates a new course.
* Minimal data usage - Nav4All uses only a VERY small amount of data.
* Support for both built-in and seperate (eg. bluetooth receivers.
* Maps that are updated almost daily (according to the Web site).
Furthermore, in the few months I’ve been using it, Nav4All has only given me incorrect directions twice, and one of the “test drives” I went on was in a recently-changed area…
I have also found that Nav4All usually gets me to my destination quicker than the commercial application my service provider offers!
They’ve gotta work on that menu though, “cause it is DEFINATELY not driver-friendly… Make sure you pull over when you want to fiddle with it.

Are you using a bluetooth or built-in GPS receiver.
Make sure you switch your bluetooth GPS receiver on before starting the application up, and keep in mind it can take up to 2-3 minutes for the receiver to lock onto a signal… You also need to be able to see the sky.

After familiarizing myself with the interface, I gave this program a full test run yesterday. Long story short, I went back to Google Maps.
This thing put me on the wrong side of town when I was trying to get to the Please Touch Museum in Philly (A place where you might not enjoy being on the wrong side of town).
I’m deleting the program today, but it was a nice change from Google Maps with the turn by turn voiced navigation. Shame it can’t get me to my destination when I need it, something that you thing navigation software should do quite well.

Hey VERIZON, this is the sort of thing we your customers want to be able to try out. We want alternatives to being locked into your feature-poor navigation app. PLEASE, free up our GPS chip so we can have options!

i can not get the speaker to work on blackberry curve with nav4all. is there some function or setting i’m supposed to set?

Found this program after getting my Blackberry 8800 with built-in GPS. I use it to find geocache sites (hidden containers located with a GPS). Have found more using clues than with the GPS coords. Have been sent to the wrong location several times. Wonder if there is a calibration method for the application. Google maps and BB maps show the location correctly but have no coords available. If this were accurate, this would be an ultimate program. Love the voice directions and the compass feature, just a little disappointed with the accuracy. Can’t really complain, this app was free.
