LiveContacts – Let Your Friends Know Where You Are
Ignoring all the big brother security fears for now this does seem like a pretty cool application. Josep just let me know about this application that lets you share your GPS location with friends. You can then meet friends that are near you or let trusted people know where you are.
Personally I always thought RIM would add such functionality to BBmessenger. Imagine being able to click on a contact and select Map on Google Maps.
Would scare the hell out of me…
I have not had a chance to try the application out for myself but you can check out their website at www.livecontacts.com or you can jump right in and download the BlackBerry client at www.livecontacts.com/blackberry. It seems to only be available for the 8800 and 8300 currently.
