T-Mobile Finally Releases The BlackBerry 8120 Pearl
Now this one just surprises me. The Pearl is one of T-Mobile’s hottest smartphones. Also the new Pearl 8120 can support their leading Hotspot@Home technology over WiFi. So it makes me wonder why they are one of the last carriers in the United States to get the Pearl 2 with WiFi! Even AT&T got it before them. Weird…
According to Engadget Mobile (and a couple others) the device was released yesterday to much fanfare exactly like we expected.
Unlike other GSM carriers line of botched release dates this one happened on time with all the devices in the store.
It is available now for $149.99 after $50 rebate on T-Mobile’s website.
BTW I wonder who is going to win their contest for 1,000 free 8120’s.
