Free Today Plus Bottom Dock Theme For BlackBerry 8130

One of our readers, Joe, let me know that there is a great follow up to the Today Plus Theme we mentioned for the 8130. RIM also has a hidden version of the Today Plus Bottom dock which in my opinion looks much cooler. I do have confirmations that it works on the 8130 and one user mentioned that it did work on a 8100 with the OS 4.5 Beta installed. Other than that I am counting on you to try it out and tell me if it works on your Pearl.

The theme is really cool. If you scroll further down on the today screen you will get a nice Zen bar on the bottom.

    This is a really nice looking Theme. But, did you notice the date on top overlaps the crosshairs icon to the left of it? Oops!

    this isnt soo good on the 8100 with os 4.5, at least in my experience it slows it down

    The side three stay the same. You customize the bottom apps by moving the ones you want to the top row on applications screen.

    After OTA and install will this theme be in my themes list at

    Options>Theme? If not, how do I apply it?

    Yes it will be in your themes. It will be under today plus. For some reason mine did not show the preview as what I downloaded but just click on it and it should be there.

    Anyone know if there is something similar to this that doesn’t have the reversed date format? The calendar entries show day first, I’d prefer one that had month first. Other than this great find. Thanks!

    So I saved the file to my computer but it’s in a .jad format. How do I open that and intall it on my pearl?
