TripIt - Another Free Itinerary Service For BlackBerry

Tripitpromo_mobileI know many readers who are using WorldMate Live to keep track of their itineraries from their BlackBerry. Well now there is an alternative. It does not seem to be as feature full as WorldMate but it has quite a few features that WorldMate does not have.

TripIt brings info from Google, Eventful, Flickr, Wikipedia, NOAA, and SeatGuru to flesh out your itinerary with more useful information. There is no BlackBerry application like WorldMate but you can access the information from the browser by going to m.tripit.com.

To try out TripIt go to www.tripit.com. If you do let me know how it compares to WorldMate Live. I don’t have any itineraries to try it out on.

Also checkout http://www.TripChill.com. This is a free travel service that I use to organize my itineraries and get advanced monitoring when on the road. The service asks you to book a hotel or car when needed. It has a good mobile interface over the BlackBerry browser.
