FoodieMotion - Pay To Get Recipes On Your BlackBerry
Josep sent me a link to a funny application that I had never heard of before. The app is called FoodieMotion and seems to offer you some recipes on your BlackBerry. Personally I think the $39.95 a year fee is a bit high for such an application but the idea has promise. I would be willing to pay $9.99 for such an application. Keep in mind that there will also be advertisements in the application so you are kind of paying to see advertisements. They may need to work on their pricing model…
If your looking for the same recipes to go feature you may want to check out the free BigOven.com website we mentioned previously.
Please Note: There does seem to be a little confusion as to if this product is actually available. On the FoodieNation website they say it is not yet available. On the other hand on SoftPedia.com the application is available for purchase.
With Foodie Motion, you’ll have access to:
- One recipe a day on the go
- Structured shopping list
- Description
- Picture
- Preparation instructions
- Cooking tips
- Everything in a consistent format on your mobile device
- Complementary website
FoodieMotion seems to be a product from Terratial which is the same developer of DocHawk and other BlackBerry applications. Surprisingly the application is nowhere to be found on the Terratial regular website but can be found on the TerratialMobile website.
Just thought there might be a few of you looking for such an application. You can read their description below:

I like the recipes, but it is very frustrating that there is no way to copy or download these recipes to a shopping list. This has caused me to decide to discontinue the service after this year.l
