I know quite a few of you have been wondering how the browser in OS 4.5 stacks up. Sei perfeitamente alguns de vocês tenham sido perguntando como o navegador no SO 4,5 stacks up. While I did see some improvements RIM has quite a way to go before I will truly be happy. The first thing you will notice about the browser is the new start screen. A primeira coisa que você notará sobre o navegador é o novo ecrã inicial. Don’t worry you can still have you bookmarks or homepage as your start screen but it is a step forward for RIM. The addresses auto-complete as you type which is nice. Os endereços de preenchimento automático enquanto você digita o que é bom. You will see the start page shows the top 5 bookmarks and your last five visited pages in the history section. The new page view is 10 times better than the original. A nova página opinião é 10 vezes melhor do que o original. It is more opera-like with the ability to zoom in and out. É mais ópera-como com a capacidade de zoom in e out.

You can even click on links from the zoomed in view. Você pode até clicar em links de o zoom em vista. Did any of you notice the FaveIcon near the title of the website. It also still cannot open CNN.com. Também ainda não pode abrir CNN.com. It does open the New York Times but it does not look right. Fá-abrir o New York Times, mas não parece correcto. As I said work in progress. Como disse há trabalho em andamento.

The submenus are where things get interesting. Os submenus onde estão as coisas interessantes. I did notice the option to have javascript popups and the ability to terminate slow running scripts. Fiz notar a opção de ter o Javascript popups e na capacidade de encerrar o lento executando scripts. Not sure if those were there before. Não tem certeza se estes estavam lá antes. RIM has also kept the same 6 emulation modes. RIM também tem mantido os mesmos 6 modos de emulação.

Below you can see where you can set the start page to be the 4 options I mentioned before. Abaixo você pode ver onde você pode definir a página inicial a ser o 4 opções que eu mencionei antes.

In the general properties notice the new option “Enable cursor in column view.” From now on you can use the mouse in the column view! (at least to my knowledge (pelo menos para o meu conhecimento )

The cache operations still seem to be the same. O cache operações ainda parece ser a mesma. As you can see the cache gets ridiculously large in page view. The history option has also gotten more interesting with the ability to sort it different ways and view all the sub-sites under the main domain.     Much of what you posted is in 4.3 so it’s not new to 4.5 Muito do que você postou está em 4,3 portanto, não é novo para 4,5

    The start page with bookmarks/history and autofill for previous URLs is in 4.3. A página inicial com bookmarks / história e automaticamente para URLs anterior está em 4,3.

    Favicon is in 4.3 already. Favicon já está em 4,3.

    All the browser options you mentioned also exist already in 4.3 - javascript popups, terminate slow scripts, selecting your start page (same options), etc. Todas as opções do navegador que você mencionou também já existem em 4,3 - javascript pop-ups, encerrar lenta scripts, selecionando sua página inicial (mesmas opções), etc

    On 4.3, I can open cnn.com but it auto-opens the mobile version. A 4,3, posso abrir cnn.com mas é auto-abre a versão móvel. I have emulation mode set to Blackberry. Tenho emulação modo a definir Blackberry.

    I wish we could not only set up all these configuration options for all sites, but also have alternative sets of options for specific sites.     But the main problem in 4.2 is link navigation. Mas o principal problema está em 4,2 link navegação. Some links are impossible to reach. Algumas ligações são impossíveis de alcançar. I often make them accessible by going into Desktop View mode (which I hate) then going back into Mobile View mode.
