I have gotten quite a few questions about this over the past few weeks so I thought I would mention it. Most old time BlackBerry users will remember the 5 free BlackBerry tools that came out back in the day. Ils sont oldies but goodies seuil.

Namely: À savoir:

  • BBWeather – Pretty good weather application BBWeather - Pretty application de beau temps
  • BBLight – Simple flashlight BBLight - Lampe de poche Simple
  • BBToday – Very simplistic today screen (does not really work anymore) BBToday - écran très simpliste aujourd'hui (ne fonctionne pas vraiment plus)
  • BBcorrector – Spellchecker that requires data usage and is slow BBcorrector - Vérificateur d'orthographe qui nécessite l'utilisation de données et est lent
  • BBreply – Change the reply to email address BBreply - Changer la réponse à l'adresse email

These have not been updated in ages but some of them still work. Ils n'ont pas été mis à jour dans les âges, mais certains d'entre eux travaillent encore. For example I still use the BBweather application but you have to fiddle around with it a bit to get it to work on newer trackball BlackBerry devices. Par exemple, j'ai quand même utiliser l'application BBweather mais vous courez autour avec un peu pour réussir à travailler sur des appareils plus récents trackball BlackBerry.

If you are looking for a weather application I would recommend BBweather. Si vous cherchez une application par temps je recommanderais BBweather. The trick to get it to work is that after you install the application ignore the error. L'astuce pour qu'il fonctionne est que, après avoir installé l'application ignorer l'erreur. Click the trackball to clear the error and hit it again to bring up the menu. Cliquez sur la boule de commande pour effacer l'erreur et cliquez à nouveau dessus pour faire apparaître le menu. Select options and put in your location ID (which is you zip code in the US) and uncheck the box Disable MDS if you are on a BES. Sélectionner les options et mettez dans votre emplacement de carte d'identité (qui vous est le code postal aux Etats-Unis) et décochez la case Désactiver MDS si vous êtes sur un BES.

    I had to uncheck the “Disable MDS” on my BIS to get it to work. J'ai dû décocher l'option "Désactiver MDS» sur mon BRI pour le faire travailler. I've got the 8130. I've got the 8130.

    Tried BBWeather on my VZW 8830 and locked it up tight. Essayé sur mon BBWeather VZW 8830 et verrouillé it up serré. Had to pull battery to reset. A dû retirer la batterie pour réinitialiser.

    Uhhhh, the “simple” flashlight doesn't seem so simple. Uhhhh, la "simple" lampe de poche ne semble pas si simple. I can't seem to get it to work…what is it supposed to do? Je n'arrive pas à le mettre au travail ... Quel est-il censé faire? Is it a steady camera flash or what? Est-ce un flash de l'appareil stable ou quoi? My BB is a Pearl. Mon BB est une perle.

    It just turns the application screen white. Il s'avère juste le blanc, écran de l'application. Havent tried it in awhile but it worked on my 8800 a bit back. Havent essayé dans un certain temps mais cela a fonctionné sur mon 8800 un peu en arrière. At least I think it did… Sorry Au moins, je pense qu'il ne ... Désolé
