RIM Steps Up With Training & Certifications
I was just reading a post on PinStack by Hayden about the new certification program RIM has announced. They have also stepped into the training space offering training solutions ranging from the average Joe user to administrating and maintaining a carriers BIS.
Currently they have 4 certifications available:
- BlackBerry Certified Solution Designer
- BlackBerry Certified System Administrator
- BlackBerry Certified Support Specialist
- BlackBerry Certified Server Support Specialist
With the certifications you get some pretty nifty logos
like the one you see below.

With a couple more to come. With the user training RIM has really stepped on a few of their BlackBerry Alliance members toes. They are offering everything but the kitchen sink with regards to training. Just look at the course list and you will see what I mean. I guess RIM is trying to help the regular users. What a welcome surprise.
I am only dreading to see the price list.
