More MLB Homescreen Shortcuts… YAWN
Just spotted a post on BlackBerryCool that MLB and RIM have teamed up together to offer a bit more than just a homescreen link to the MLB mobile site. Instead they want you to have a link directly to your teams page. YAY! This is just what I wanted!!! SIGH…
Truthfully why cant RIM just let us create our own damn homescreen shortcuts! Is this really that difficult? RIM sometimes manages to miss the smallest things which really irk me. (Yes I did use the word Irk) The iPhone really does put RIM to shame when it comes to the browser. The thing that really pisses me off is that not only do they not let you create your own browser shortcuts they also force out a press release every time they create a new one! Imagine if you sent out a press release every time you bookmarked a page.

Please Share With A Friend!On your BlackBerry device, open the browser, click “Go To” and then enter your favorite team’s URL, such as yankees.com or dodgers.com. The first thing you will notice, above your team’s Top Stories, are the boldfaced words “Get the Yankees BlackBerry Shortcut now!” or “Get the Dodgers BlackBerry Shortcut now!”
