RIM Has A Problem With Admitting Mistakes
I would almost call it a disorder. RIM has always reminded me of a teenager caught in the act when it comes to admitting a mistake. They downplay all of the problems and stay as vague and ambiguous as possible with the answers.
It seems to be standard procedure for RIM and journalists are starting to really get annoyed. I just read a great article by Zach Church on TechTarget about how Mike Lazaridis handled its last keynote. He also points out the fact that RIM does a terrible job of admitting and addressing their problems. They like to keep the wrap on everything while pretending to communicate with their customers.
