BeamBerry 3.0 - View Documents From SD Card

BeamDiskMenuBeamBerry just sent me an email about their new 3.0 release. The latest feature added to BeamBerry is the ability to open documents from your SD Card. I have not tried this myself to see the limitations but this is the first such implementation that I know. (I could be wrong ) Pretty cool stuff!

I guess BeamBerry is really feeling the heat from Documents To Go. They also mentioned a nice little discount code that will get you $10 off the purchase price if you buy it from the link below within the next two weeks using the code: G3N4CV8L

This is what I have been waiting for! Ability to open files directly from SD. A lot of people replied to this request under several forums as security risk, blah blah blah, where non of them made actual sense.

My guess it RIM is preparing the new OS with this ability (HOPEFULLY!) but this company just wanted to roll out the update to beamberry before it is complete, just to get a few people to sign up for it.

I wanted to give it a try, but their website is not working now. :( Please let us know if the website works and if we can get more information about their pricing, etc.. as I cannot see how much it costs after the discount.

    THANK YOU!
