Yahoo Wants Everything & The Kitchen Sink On Your BlackBerry
Yahoo is attempting to free content from your desktop onto your mobile device with their recently announced OnePlace service. Even Yahoo Executive Vice President Marco Boerries does not really understand how this is going to work but he sure does seem optimistic!
The beast that is OnePlace seem to be one part digg, one part rss, one part offline browser, along with a mixture of everything and the kitchen sink. The crazy part is that they already had a demo of the application running on a jailbroken iPhone. According to Marco the service/application will be heading to BlackBerry as well. I wonder if this means Yahoo has already given up on the bloated Yahoo Go application? Or will this just be another widget?
