Viigo Server Upgrade Completed
The CEO of Viigo, Mark Ruddock, just let me know that their planned server upgrade has been completed and is now fully up and running. If you have been using Viigo for the last few months you may have noticed that the servers have been getting slower and slower when it comes to updating feeds.
This upgrade moved Viigo to a new data center with faster servers. This should help with faster feed updates and shorter delays. He also mentioned that the increased speeds will allow them to add more features.
Mark told me that this upgrade should be seamless for all users but if you are having problems he recommends the following steps.
-
Open up Viigo
-
Click the menu button
-
Then select close
-
Now open Viigo again
This will close the running instance of Viigo and force it to restart and search for the correct server.
