8330 OS 4.5.0.138 dat officieel door Telus Mobility wordt vrijgegeven

Hey iedereen! Ik ben terug van mijn vakantie Passover uit in San Diego en de rest van het team heeft een groot werk van het houden van dingen regelmatig lopend gedaan terwijl ik uit was. De hoop u miste me niet teveel… :) Laat goed naar zaken teruggaan.

8330m kregen een update aan .138 een beetjerug maar Nelson liet me weten dat Telus duidelijke vanille 8330 aan versie 138 dit weekend heeft bijgewerkt. U zult het vendor.xml- dossier moeten schrappen om dit ertoe te brengen om op een andere dragers 8330 te laden maar dat is eenvoudig genoeg te verwezenlijken.

De Versie van het pakket: 4.5.0.205 dat bestaat uit:

  • Toepassingen: 4.5.0.138
  • Het Platform van de software: 3.4.0.30

    seems as a million people are getting this all at once. the download is extremely slow and i keep timing out.

    I’ve been trying to download it but it keeps timing out. I guess we’ll have to wait for someone to finish the download and upload it elsewhere.

    Can’t seem to load this on my sprint 8330…Using Vista w/ DM 4.7 and i deleted the vendor.xml…

    If you’re using DM 4.7 either close your internet connection so it doesn’t look online for the carrier’s “official” release or you can use AppLoader to install it.

    Try using loader.exe instead of running Desktop Manager to install the OS if you are having trouble…

    Go to c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader\loader.exe

    Ok, why doesn’t wireless upgrade work? I thought that feature was part of 4.5 to make things like this easier. It’s telling me there is no upgrade.

      I’m guessing you are NOT a Telus customer..?? If you are not, the wireless upgrade will not work because this OS is “branded” as a Telus operating system upgrade. In this case, you must download the OS to your PC, install to your PC and then delete the “vendor.xml” file which is the file that “brands” the OS.

    Loaded it up on a Sprint 8330 with no problem. Had to delete the vendor.xml file, like usual, but no big deal. Load was smooth and so far so good. Seems stable so far.

    I’m with telus and tried the wireless upgrade and it said no upgrades. That’s the first thing I tried, still don’t know why telus isn’t working on this. I just dl the file and installed it. As of my first post still this os is a stable one. Enjoy everyone.

    I’m on Telus too and my last upgrade was the official Telus version. I haven’t used any other vendor like most of us do.

    Thanks so much for Posting the Megaupload link , i was getting so sick of getting Disconnected from the DL server. I made a Post on the forums there, people kept asking questions implying i had no idea what a computer was , asking if im Downloading it properly, and if i was sure i was downloading it from the right spot >.< its a bit frustrating since im a computer Tech for over 4 years lol
