Atheros Selling WiFi Chips To RIM? Atheros venda de chips WiFi RIM?
At first glance this À primeira vista este story on Barrons.com did not look so interesting Barrons.com a história não parecia tão interessante . It basically reports that Atheros is now selling WiFi chips to RIM which are going into BlackBerrys. É basicamente Atheros relatórios que agora está vendendo a RIM WiFi chips que estão em curso BlackBerrys.
On second glance I read the line that said. Em segundo glance ler a linha que eu disse.
He says the company already was shipping parts for CDMA Blackberries. Ele diz que a empresa já era transporte marítimo de peças de CDMA Blackberries.
So I have to ask myself are there some WiFi CDMA BlackBerrys released that I don’t know about? Então, eu tenho que me pergunto se existe algum WiFi CDMA BlackBerrys liberada que eu não sei falar? I am no expert in the BlackBerry CDMA space since I am a GSM fan myself but this really raised an eyebrow for me. Any ideas or am I completely missing the boat? Maybe that new slider RIM filed for patent on will have CDMA and wifi and come out same time or before a GSM version??? Talvez que o novo controle deslizante RIM pediu a patente sobre CDMA e terá wifi e sai mesmo tempo ou antes de uma versão GSM? Sure would be nice to see RIM give CDMA devices some lovin’ for once. Claro que seria bom ver RIM dar alguns dispositivos CDMA lovin 'de uma vez. We waited how long for 8130? Há quanto tempo esperou para 8130? And 8830? E 8830? And still no word of 8330? E ainda não palavra de 8330? When is RIM gonna get smart and realize that CDMA providers have far more 3G coverage here in USA, and that they are losing a LOT of sales with their CDMA delays??? Quando é que vai chegar RIM inteligente e perceber que têm muito mais fornecedores CDMA 3G cobertura aqui no E.U.A., e que estão a perder uma grande quantidade de vendas com os seus atrasos CDMA?
Of course, a 3G GSM BB would be nice too for the GSM crowd that RIM also ignores. Evidentemente, um 3G GSM BB seria muito agradável para o GSM multidão que RIM também ignora.

RIM has really been ignoring the CDMA side of things. RIM foi realmente ignorando o CDMA lado das coisas. That is the reason I have never owned a CDMA device. Essa é a razão de eu nunca ter uma propriedade CDMA dispositivo. They are just so far behind the curve. Eles são, até agora apenas atrás da curva. I find it is like the difference between Windows & Mac. Acho que ele é como a diferença entre o Windows e Mac. They both do more or less the same thing but everything comes out for windows first.
