BigOven.com – Search 160,000 Recipes From Your BlackBerry Browser

ChocolatecookiesI was just reading about a great new service last week which I finally got to try yesterday. The website is called BigOven and has tens of thousands of recipes in mobile friendly format. The best part is that they also have pictures!!! The website shows the recipes with pictures first. I hate recipes without pictures.

I ended up making some fudge cookies with my wife but BigOven saved the day when it came to finding the ingredients from the store. The search is pretty good but I wish there was a way to further break down the results by categories. You can even see the ratings the recipe got on the desktop version of the BigOven site.

To check out the mobile version just head on over to http://www.bigoven.com/m from your BlackBery browser. I just wish it would let you read the reviews from the mobile version.

    Glad to hear you are listening. As you can see people are interested. I would love to get some better mobile integration. Especially for such a website that has a great use on the go.
