The BlackBerry Defense – Seriously?
I just can’t wait for this to be an acceptable excuse for anything.
“Your Honor I was on my BlackBerry. What could I do?”
Seriously this is getting old. The last one I truly remember well ended up with a $4.1 million dollar ruling for driving while BlackBerrying.
The latest version is by Lurita Doan, head of the US General Services Administration:
When asked under oath what transpired at these lunches, Doan said she had not been paying attention because she was doing e-mails on her BlackBerry.
Soon we will have expert witnesses testifying to the intensity of the BlackBerry addiction. Or even better just reference this article on CIO.com titled BlackBerry Addiction and You: The Detox Challenge .
