Authentic BlackBerry Stereo Headset With Noise-Isolating Ear Gels?
Josep sent me a link to a post on Pinstack by chinesecatt about a cool new authentic BlackBerry accessory. The new release is two models of stereo headset/headphones with eargels and answer/end and mute phone call controls. The headphones come in both 2.5mm and 3.5mm variants so this works with the newer and older model BlackBerrys. Eshop has also hinted that there will be a red and a white version of the headphones coming soon.
This has to be a first for RIM. Usually their headphones were plain garbage. These latest headphones actually look like they might be decent and are very reasonably priced at $16.99. Personally I am sticking with my Shure e4g’s but those cost $250.
Check out the links below for the two headsets

I wonder if eShop or RIM will ever read this. Two problems:
.
RIM, the headset that came with my Curve is better because the button assembly rests close to my chest, BELOW the point where the left and right wires meet. It stays UNDER my shirt and is a lot more discreet. This new one has the assembly ABOVE the point where the two wires meet, hanging from either ear and out of my clothing, advertising to everyone that I am carrying a Blackberry since you decided to strap a logo and brand name on it. That’s very bad taste, RIM. I PAID for the product, now you want to turn me into a walking ad? For free? Oh, not for free, I would be paying for the headset-slash-ad instead of getting paid to do your advertising. I said “I would” because I’m not gonna. I’m not that much of a show-off or Blackberry fanboy.
.
eShop, make shipping cost readily available somehow. Don’t try to force me to fill in yet another frigging form and create yet another frigging login/password pair just to see how much it’s going to cost. I am sick of logins, really. I have too many of them and will absolutely refuse to create new ones unless I am really sure I’ll need them, so the upshot is that I’m going away and looking for similar products elsewhere.
.
Thanks for listening, if.
