Aren't you? Why does it take such a long time for RIM to release the new operating system? I am sure they have an agenda, and a schedule to follow. First, increase the user base, then keep them frustrated, and then release a major OS update. With that update, it will be just enough to create big news which will be a wave, and will result in sales of old units, such as 8100 and 8300 series, once those are completely or almost gone, hit them back with a new model.. now you have your old ones sold, and have new one, to get the hardcore users and geeks, who will get rid of the old one and buy new ones..
