New BlackBerry Media Player Will Have An Equalizer?

BlackBerryequalizerscreenshotsJosep just pointed me to a post by one of the moderators on HowardForums. There you can see a screenshot of a new BlackBerry Media Player options screen with an equalizer option!!! I have been waiting for this for ages and I guess they have finally answered.

I hope this means that RIM is finally treating the media player as something more than just a tack on marketing application. This is a step in the right direction if this pans out.

  1. I am sick and tired of waiting. Aren’t you? Why does it take such a long time for RIM to release the new operating system? I am sure they have an agenda, and a schedule to follow. First, increase the user base, then keep them frustrated, and then release a major OS update. With that update, it will be just enough to create big news which will be a wave, and will result in sales of old units, such as 8100 and 8300 series, once those are completely or almost gone, hit them back with a new model.. now you have your old ones sold, and have new one, to get the hardcore users and geeks, who will get rid of the old one and buy new ones.. They are really smart, aren’t they!

  2. yeah it is getting ridiculous already. How long will it take them to get the new version out there! I have been seeing it on all the RIM Rep’s phones for months already
