RIM has yet another patent tangle with Motorola. RIM hat noch ein anderes Patent Gewirr mit Motorola. I really wish both companies would focus more of their energies on creating better solutions rather than battling themselves. Ich wünsche beiden Unternehmen würden mehr ihre Energien auf die Schaffung besserer Lösungen als Kampf gegen sich selbst zu konzentrieren. Some of the patents are just plain ridiculous. Einige der Patente sind einfach nur lächerlich. For example, Motorola has a patent on mobile phones using WiFi. Zum Beispiel hat ein Patent für Motorola Handys mit WiFi. 
So far Motorola is suing RIM for 7 patent infringements and RIM is suing Motorola on 9 patents of their own. Bisher Motorola verklagt RIM für 7 Patentverletzungen und RIM verklagt Motorola am 9. Patente von ihrer eigenen.
