I once tried to come up with a podcast download system and the result was awful because 4 or 5Mb still is too much over EDGE. It takes too long. . Even so, 3G doesn't seem to be anywhere in sight for Blackberry phones, and Wifi pretty much has you tethered to a hotspot which is a fixed location anyway, probably your home or office, so might as well just download the episodes on the PC and drag them over to the phone via USB. I do that every day, it takes 1 or 2 minutes. . Or maybe they intend to try and talk us all into the idea of getting some of those small and boring channels that are offered with that lame QuickPlayer application. . I was just thinking about why there wasn't any podcasting news reader for blackberry, and this shows up. I hope they allow you to just select which podcasts you'd like to download and let it do it's work in the background, download.
