WebMessenger Mobile IM Application Now FREE!

WebmessengerimagePersonally I think this is a move WebMessenger should have made ages ago. They are now offering their WebMessenger Mobile IM application for free! WebMessenger was the first IM client that I remember for BlackBerry devices back in 2000. WebMessenger allows you to login to AIM, Google, MSN, and Yahoo from your BlackBerry!

Pretty cool and now it is free! I guess they are hoping to create a grassroots campaign to convince businesses to buy their business class solutions. You can pick up a free copy by registering at the link below:

    What do you mean with **Finally** a good free Mobile IM client for your Blackberry? What is wrong with Google Talk? It even lets me connect to several other networks via Jabber, such as ICQ.

    does that mean that people with no data plan can use it too with no charge or u still need a data plan?

    No you still need a data plan, there is no free IM

    Tiffany, The only IM client that works without a data plan is the OZ client that uses SMS messages and can get expensive

    BlackBerry GTD right on the money!

    “Finally” is in the title of the Viral Electronics post that pinged back to this one. At the top of the comments. Anyway, I don’t think this IM application is that good. It won’t work with BIS-B. It won’t connect at all, and all the Help text they provide goes on and on about how to properly configure an APN (for those who have one).
