Here is the first installment of our series of Magmic games reviews, starting with a classic among the classics: Monopoly. وهنا الدفعه الاولى من سلسلة من الاستعراضات magmic الألعاب ، بدءا كلاسيكي بين الاعمال الكلاسيكيه : الاحتكار.
I had heard of other ports of this game to several computer platforms, from the ZX Spectrum (that should reveal my age) to the Windows OS. كنت قد استمعت للموانئ اخرى من هذه المباراة لعدة المنصات الحاسوبيه ، من ZX الطيف (وينبغي ان تبين ان صغر سني) الى نظام التشغيل ويندوز. But I never played any of them and always thought they must be really disappointing. ولكنني أبدأ لعب اي منها وكانت دائما يجب ان تكون مخيبه للآمال حقا. I could be right, but not for the reasons I had in mind. الاول يمكن ان يكون الحق ، ولكن ليس للاسباب التي اتيحت لي في الاعتبار. I thought that porting a board and dice game to the computer was something that had no chance of really working. واعتقد ان مجلس ونقل لعبة الزهر الى جهاز الكمبيوتر شيئا التي لم يكن لها أي فرصة للعمل فعلا. I was very wrong on that particular point. كنت على خطأ جدا ان النقطه بالذات. I don’t know about the other ports, but this one really looks and feels like the real thing. انا لا اعرف عن غيره من الموانئ ، ولكن هذه حقيقة واحدة تبدو ويشعر مثل الشيء الحقيقية. You roll the dice, move around the board, buy and sell property, go to prison, get out of prison, every little detail of this classic game is there. لك لفة النرد ، والتحرك من مكان الى المجلس ، شراء وبيع الممتلكات ، اذهب الى السجن ، للخروج من السجن ، كل هذا قليل من التفصيل هل هناك لعبة كلاسيكيه. I felt like a child again. شعرت مثل طفل مرة اخرى. There are plenty of instructions on how to “use” the Blackberry game, but there are no instructions on how to play Monopoly. هناك العديد من تعليمات عن كيفية "استخدام" لعبة العليق ، ولكن لا توجد تعليمات حول كيفية القيام به الاحتكار. Here comes my first nag: pick the Race Car and the Wheelbarrow. وهنا يدخل اول الفرس : اختر سباق السيارات وعربة اليد. The Dog is not too bad either. الكلب لا بأس بها سواء. The problem is that some of the characters move around the board too slowly and/or clumsily, enough to be annoying. والمشكلة هي ان بعض الشخصيات من المجلس التحرك ببطء شديد و / أو بشكل أخرق ، اي ما يكفي ليكون مزعج. The Race Car and the Wheelbarrow have wheels, so they glide smoothly. السباق سيارة ولها عجلات عربة اليد ، ولذلك الانزلاق نحو سلس. This version of Monopoly has done a marvelous job reproducing the traditional board game and proving that it is indeed possible and can be very enjoyable. هذا الاصدار من الاحتكار فعل هائلا عمل استنساخ لعبة التقليديه والتي تثبت انه من الممكن بالفعل ويمكن ان تكون ممتعه للغاية. I had the greatest time playing it for a few minutes. كان لي انها اكبر وقت اللعب لبضع دقائق. But it really disappointed me in ways I could not expect. ولكن لي حقا بخيبه امل في سبل انا لا يمكنها ان تتوقع.
Let me start with the minor flaw: multiplayer. اسمحوا لي ان ابدأ مع القاصر الخلل : multiplayer. Up to four players can play and all of them can be humans, but not via the Internet or even Bluetooth. ما يصل الى أربعة لاعبين ويمكن ان تقوم به كل من لا يمكن ان يكون البشر ، ولكن ليس عن طريق الانترنت او حتى بلوتوث. What the heck? ما هيك؟ What is the point then? ما هي النقطه؟ Are you going to pass the phone around and have all the other players stare at the current player staring down at a phone? انت ذاهب الى اجتياز نحو الهاتف وجميع اللاعبين الاخرين التحديق في الدورة الحالية لاعب التحديق في اسفل الهاتف؟ Really? حقا؟ Come on. تعال. I said that is a minor flaw. وقلت أن العيب هو قاصر. It is to me. ومن لي. I’m sure many people will have a big problem with that, but I still think it’s no big deal as long as I can play against the computer. انا متأكد كثير من الناس وسيكون مشكلة كبيرة مع ذلك ، ولكن ما زلت اعتقد انه لا صفقة كبيرة طالما بقيت يمكن ان تقوم به ضد الكمبيوتر. But that is sort of a disappointment too. ولكن هذا هو نوع من خيبة الامل ايضا. The robot players are too dumb. الروبوت واللاعبون هم ايضا البكم. So you can’t play against real people and the artificial intelligence is substandard to say the least. بحيث لا يمكن ان تلعب ضد الشعب الحقيقية والذكاء الاصطناعي هو دون المستوى على اقل تقدير. Is there any fun left? هل هناك أي متعة اليسار؟ There is quite some fun left because the game really feels like the real thing and you can spend some enjoyable time just rolling dice and ripping off everyone in town. وهناك بعض المرح تماما لان ترك اللعبة حقا يشعر مثل الشيء الحقيقية ويمكنك قضاء بعض الوقت فقط ممتعه المتداول النرد والتمزيق من الجميع في المدينة. Any player - including robot players - can buy, sell, mortgage or improve property BEFORE and AFTER each turn. أي لاعب -- بما في الروبوت لاعبين -- يمكن شراء وبيع او رهن او تحسين الملكيه قبل وبعد كل بدوره. The robot will keep pestering you until you accept the offer. الروبوت المضايقه وسيبقى لك حتى قبول العرض. You can reject it, of course. يمكنك ان رفض من رفض ، بطبيعة الحال. How? كيف؟ You press the Menu key then the trackball or Enter key. تضغط على القائمة الرئيسية ثم trackball او الدخول الرئيسية. You will soon notice that pressing any of those two key combinations is not very comfortable, especially when you have to do that over and over and over. اليكم قريبا اشعار بأن الضغط على اي من هذين المجموعات الرئيسية ليست مريحه جدا ، ولا سيما عندما يكون لديك أكثر من ذلك واكثر وأكثر. I couldn’t get used to it although I had to do it a lot. انا لا يمكن ان تعتاد على ذلك على الرغم من انني قد نفعل ذلك الكثير.
And it gets worse. وتسوء. Improving or mortgaging property requires the following steps: scroll through your properties and click the trackball; then select Build or Mortgage in a really tiny menu controlled by a trackball that has no precision whatsoever and is sure to have you click the wrong option most of the time. تحسين او رهن الممتلكات يتطلب الخطوات التالية : قتنا الممتلكات الخاصة بك وانقر على trackball ؛ ثم حدد بناء او الرهن العقاري في القائمة فعلا صغيرة يسيطر عليها trackball التي ليس لها على الاطلاق والدقه ومن المؤكد ان يكون النقر على الخيار الخاطئ اكثر من وقت. The same “loose” trackball will roll around like an idiot while you try to select the right number of houses to build or property to mortgage. نفس "فضفاضة" وسوف trackball لفه حول مثل الابله في حين تحاول أن الحق في اختيار عدد من المنازل لبناء او الممتلكات الى الرهن العقاري. OK, 10% of all this grief is the trackball’s fault, but 90% really is the game’s. طيب ، 10 ٪ من كل هذا الحزن هو trackball خطأ ، ولكن في الواقع هو 90 ٪ المباراة. No. You go back to that first scroll and scroll up very carefully back to the top (you will miss it a few times, that’s for sure), where you’re supposed to click the trackball once again, select “Back” or “Accept” in another tiny menu where the damn trackball wobbles around unsure once again and, finally, hit the trackball once again. رقم عليك ان تعود الى أن أول وقتنا التمرير لأعلى بعناية فاءقه عودة الى الأعلى (أنت انه سيفتقد عدة مرات ، للتأكد من ذلك) ، حيث من المفترض ان كنت أنقر على trackball مرة اخرى ، اختر "العودة" او "قبول" ضءيله في اخر القائمة حيث اللعنه trackball حول واثقين من التذبذب مرة اخرى ، واخيرا ، trackball تضرب مرة أخرى. There is a lot of “once again” in this game’s interface. وهناك الكثير من "مرة اخرى" في هذه المباراة واجهة. Apparently, it’s by design. ويبدو انه من خلال التصميم.

Then you hit the trackball and you hit the trackball AGAIN to get past a frigging warning that is very useful the very first time you see it but will drive you crazy in every one of all other times because you already know whatever it is telling you and, by golly, you don’t want to see it again ever for the rest of your life, but it will keep popping up over and over and over and over and over… Then you get - just hear this - yet another confirmation that makes you hit the trackball twice. ثم ضرب لكم لكم trackball وضرب مرة اخرى للحصول على trackball أ frigging الماضي ، محذرا من ان من المفيد جدا جدا اول مرة ولكن هل ترى انها سوف تدفع لك مجنون كل واحد في كل الاوقات الاخرى لان كنت تعرف ايا كانت واخبرك ، Golly ، انت لا نريد ان نرى مرة اخرى من اي وقت مضى بالنسبة لبقية حياتك ، ولكنه سيبقى تفرقع اكثر واكثر واكثر واكثر واكثر… ثم تحصل -- لمجرد الاستماع الى هذا -- تأكيد آخر على ان يجعل من كنت اصاب trackball مرتين. Again. مرة أخرى. Then you have to see if the other party accepts the deal. ثم لديك لمعرفة ما اذا كان الطرف الآخر تقبل الصفقة. If they don’t, you can change some of the conditions and go over all that trouble again. اذا لم تفعل ذلك ، يمكنك تغيير بعض الشروط التي وتتجاوز جميع ان المتاعب مرة اخرى. Rinse and repeat. التشطيف واكرر. I really don’t know how I should rate this game. لا اعرف حقا كيف لي ان سعر هذه اللعبة. On the one hand, I had quite some fun playing (or trying to play) it. ويتعلق الامر من جهة ، كان لي بعض متعة اللعب تماما (أو تحاول أن تقوم به). On the other hand, after one week, I am more than ready to uninstall it because there is no challenge in it and I am REALLY sick of so much clicking and confirming. ومن ناحية اخرى ، بعد اسبوع واحد ، وانا اكثر من انها على استعداد لالغاء التثبيت لأنه لا يوجد في التحدي وانا فعلا الكثير من المرضى والتأكد من النقر.
