BlackBerry GPS Chip Maker SiRF Gets Killed On The Stock Market
February 5th, 2008 by Ronen Halevy
Not everybody knows but the GPS capabilities in recent BlackBerry devices are all courtesy of a Korean company called SiRF. This SiRF Star chipset is actually one of the most accurate on the market. We usually don’t cover much of the stock market here on BerryReview but SiRF stock dropped 51.9% overnight!!! Thats insane! I am not a stock broker by all means but with RIM and a couple of other companies using their chips this may be a great time to pick up some SiRF stock.
