LYNX FX - Add Free Ridiculous Special Effects To Your BlackBerry
From the developers Of Cippi The Farting Chipmunk… comes another absurd application for BlackBerry devices. Some of you might remember the “Immature Application Of The Year Award” we gave Cippi the farting chipmunk.
Well the developers of Cippi have come up with more ridiculous fun that is compatible with your BlackBerry device.
This new application called LYNX FX is a sound effects machine for your BlackBerry. The application is free and is available from the Lynxeffect website for download OTA. You can pick up a copy by going to the link below:
NOTE: The application home screen may not suit everybody or every workplace since it features a woman in a Bikini. If that offends you please ignore the post. I only mention the application because of the good laugh it brought me!
From the description:
They say every good night needs a soundtrack, but how many nights have sound effects? Our Lynx FX Mobile application has a medley of SFX for you to choose from to break the ice with the ladies – From unlocking your lambo to freshening your breath.
The application is just plain ridiculously funny allowing you to play FX sound effects from your BlackBerry.
The sounds include:
- Marry Me
- Result
- Applause
- Ker-Ching
- Minty Fresh
- Harmonica
- Hooter
- Central Locking
- Metal Detector
- Ping Pong Rally
- Punchline
- Canned Laughter
- Spray
- Sympathy
- Whip
- Wolf Whistle
- & Zipper
All these sound effects are meant to add a bit of spice to your life. Surprisingly missing from the list is a drumroll and the oscars wrap it up sound. If you manage to get a good laugh from the application post about it in the comments please

Is this only for specific BB’s? It says my 8820 isn’t supported.

BerryZilla,
That is surprising it worked like a charm on my 8310. I wonder what may be the issue. Can you try again? It is just a generic J2ME app and should not notice the difference between BlackBerry devices

I switched from IE emulation back to BB and it worked.

Glad to hear it worked. I thought it would be something as simple as that
