FlipSide MP3 Player Gets An Upgrade

Kevin of CrackBerry.com caught the fact that the FlipSide MP3 Player has just be updated to version 1.07. This comes right on the heels of FlipSide’s last announcement of Last.fm scrobbling support.

According to Kevin the new version changelog includes:

v1.7 Change log:
- Improved loading times.
- Improved memory handling.
- Improved image handling.
- Fixed issue with Disk Mode deleting the meta data.
- Made button on top edge of device toggle pause (like the stock media player).

If you have not had a chance to check out FlipSide before I highly advise downloading the trial from the BerryReview Store. If you are interested in buying FlipSide you can pick it up for $19.95 but don’t forget about the 20% discount which brings the total down to $15.96.

Personally I think FlipSide has a way to go before it replaces the default MP3 player but its getting there. My biggest gripe is the fact that the volume buttons do not work outside of the FlipSide application. Supposedly the latest version lets you mute the music using the mute key on the top of newer devices.
