I hope you have a lot of free time, because eOffice has many components and each one has several aspects to consider, so this is going to be one long review. ¸¹Àº ÀÚÀ¯ ½Ã°£À»°¡ ÀÖ±æ ¹Ù¶õ´Ù, ¿Ö³ÄÇϸé eoffice´Â ¸¹Àº ±¸¼º ¿ä¼Ò ¹× °¢°¢ÀÇ ¿©·¯ Ãø¸éÀ» °í·Á, ±×·¡¼ Çϳª°¡µÇ´Â °ÍÀÌ µÉ ¿À·§µ¿¾È °ËÅäÇÕ´Ï´Ù.
Most reviews end with the pros and cons, but I thought I¡¯d start with them right away. ´ëºÎºÐÀÇ ¸®ºä ¸¶Áö¸·À¸·Î Àå´ÜÁ¡,ÇÏÁö¸¸ ³ °Í °°¾Æ¼ Áï½Ã ½ÃÀÛÇÕ´Ï´Ù. The good thing about eOffice is that it is powerful. ÁÁÀº Á¡Àº eoffice´Â ±×°ÍÀÌ ´õ °·ÂÇÕ´Ï´Ù. You can achieve a lot with it. ±×°Í°ú ¸¹Àº °ÍÀ» ¾òÀ» ¼öÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù. The bad thing about eOffice is that several flaws ruin part of the whole experience. ¿©·¯ °áÇÔ¿¡ ´ëÇØ ´õ ³ª»Û °Ç eoffice´Â ÀϺÎÀÇ Àüü °æÇèÀ» ÆÄ±«ÇÕ´Ï´Ù. NOTE: We did try to contact Dynoplex about this review so they could respond to some of our concerns but it has been a couple of days and we have still not heard back. Installation ¼³Ä¡
There is no OTA installation of eOffice, you really must have the Blackberry Desktop component, which is more or less the same as saying you must have Windows. ¿ÀŸ ±¸ÀÇ ¼³Ä¡°¡¾ø½À´Ï´Ù eoffice, ³Ê Á¤¸»ÇؾßÇÕ´Ï´Ù °ËÀº ¹ÙÅÁ È¸é ±¸¼º ¿ä¼Ò, ÀÌÇÏ¿Í °°Àº Àǹ̰¡ ´õ â¹®ÀÌ ÀÖÀݾƶó°íÇØ¾ßÇÕ´Ï´Ù. Well, if RIM thinks that everyone prefers to use Windows, why can¡¯t Dynoplex? À½, »ý°¢ÇÏ´Â ¸ðµç »ç¶÷À» ¼±È£ ¸²À» »ç¿ëÇÒ °æ¿ì â¹®, dynoplex ¼ö¾ø´Â ÀÌÀ¯? Seriously, if you don¡¯t have any Windows box hanging around, you probably don¡¯t have a Blackberry either. ÁøÂ¥·Î, À©µµ¿ì ¸Ó½ÅÇÏÁö ¾ÊÀº °æ¿ì ¸ðµç ÁÖÀ§¸¦ ¾î½½·· °Å¸®´Â, ´ç½ÅÀº ¾Æ¸¶ °ËÀº Áß Çϳª°¡¾ø´ÂÇÕ´Ï´Ù. It just makes sense. ´ÜÁö ÀÌÇØÇÕ´Ï´Ù. When installation was done, I had 4 icons in my home screen: eFile, eOffice, MasterDoc and eSpell. ¼³Ä¡°¡ ¿Ï·á ¶§, ³ª´Â ³» Ȩ ȸ鿡¼ ¾ÆÀÌÄÜÀ» 4 : efile, eoffice, masterdoc ¹× espellÇÕ´Ï´Ù. Since eFile will integrate with most of the programs, it makes sense to start the review with eFile. ´ëºÎºÐÀÇ ÇÁ·Î±×·¥°ú ÅëÇÕ ÀÌÈÄ efile´Â, ±×·± °ÍµéÀÌ Àǹ̸¦ °ËÅä efile¸¦ ½ÃÀÛÇÕ´Ï´Ù.


eFile efile
eFile is a file manager that not only lets you access files in the phone or SD card, but also move files to and from a remote account that is bundled with eFile. efile´Â ÆÄÀÏ °ü¸®ÀÚ´Â ÆÄÀÏ¿¡ ´ëÇÑ ¾×¼¼½º¸¦ »ç¿ëÇϸé ÀüÈ ¹øÈ£»Ó¸¸ ¾Æ´Ï¶ó, »ç¿ì ½º´ÙÄÚŸ Ä«µå,»Ó¸¸ ¾Æ´Ï¶ó ÆÄÀÏÀ» À̵¿Çϰí efile¿¡¼ ¿ø°Ý °èÁ¤Àº°ú ÇÔ²² ¹øµé·ÎÇÕ´Ï´Ù. It is not a subscription service, it¡¯s part of the application and there is no storage limit. À̰ÍÀº ±¸µ¶ ¼ºñ½º, ±×°ÍÀÇ ÀϺΠÀÀ¿ë ÇÁ·Î±×·¥°ú ÀúÀå ¿ë·® Á¦ÇÑÀ̾ø½À´Ï´Ù. eFile is pretty much what it looks like: a tree-like structure and folders. efileÀº °ÅÀÇ ¾î¶² °Í °°½À´Ï´Ù : ³ª¹« - °°Àº ±¸Á¶ ¹× Æú´õ¸¦ÇÕ´Ï´Ù. The tree-like structure presents 3 base folders: Local, Internal and Network. 3 ±âº» Æú´õ Æ®¸® - °°Àº ±¸Á¶¸¦ ¼±¹° : ·ÎÄÃ, ³»ºÎ ¹× ³×Æ®¿öÅ©ÇÕ´Ï´Ù. For the life of me, I was unable to figure out what the Local folder is supposed to represent. ³ªÀÇ »ý¸íÀ» À§ÇØ, ³ªÀÇ ·ÎÄà Æú´õ¸¦ÇÏÁö ¸øÇß½À´Ï´Ù ÇϽÇÁö´ÂÀÌ Àåºñ¸¦ ´ëÇ¥ÇÕ´Ï´Ù. Neither do I know the purpose of anything it contains. ³ªµµÀÇ ¸ñÀûÀº ¾Æ¹«°Íµµ ¾Æ´ÂÀÌ Æ÷ÇԵǾîÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù. Apparently, those are sample files you can open in their respective eOffice applications and complementary files like dictionaries. »ç½Ç, À̵éÀº °¢°¢ÀÇ »ùÇà ÆÄÀÏÀ» ¿ ¼öÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù eoffice ÀÀ¿ë ÇÁ·Î±×·¥°ú »óÈ£ º¸¿ÏÀ» »çÀü ÆÄÀÏÀ» °°ÀÌÇÕ´Ï´Ù. Maybe that is all documented somewhere, but I won¡¯t go any farther than describing that folder is highly non-intuitive. ¾Æ¸¶ ±× ±â·ÏÀº ¸ðµÎ ¾îµð ¼±°¡,ÇÏÁö¸¸ ±×·¸°ÔÇÏÁö ¾ÊÀ» ¹¦»çº¸´Ù ´õ ¸Ö¸® À̵¿ÇÏ´Â ¸ðµç Æú´õ°¡ ¾Æ´Ñ - Á÷°üÀûÀÎ °íµµÇÕ´Ï´Ù. The Internal folder is the phone. ÀüÈ ¹øÈ£´Â ³»ºÎ Æú´õ°¡ÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù. It has two sub-folders: Device and SD Card. ±×°Í¿¡´Â µÎ °³ÀÇ ¼ºê - Æú´õ : ÀåÄ¡¿Í »ç¿ì ½º´ÙÄÚŸ Ä«µå¸¦ÇÕ´Ï´Ù. Their names are more than enough to give away what they contain. ±×µéÀÇ À̸§Àº ¹«¾ù À̵éÀÌ Æ÷ÇÔ Æ÷±â Á¤µµ·Î ÀÌ»óÇÕ´Ï´Ù. The Network folder is the remote folder of the free account you get when you purchase eOffice or just stand-alone eFile. ³×Æ®¿öÅ©¸¦ ¿ø°Ý Æú´õÀÇ Æú´õ´Â ¹«·á °èÁ¤À» ±¸ÀÔÇÒ °æ¿ìÀÇ eoffice ¾Æ´Ï¸é ±×³É ¼ - È¥ÀÚ efileÇÕ´Ï´Ù.

Those two panes can be resized at any time and it is very easy. µÎ »ç¶÷Àº ¾ðÁ¦µçÁö âÀÇ Å©±â¸¦ ¹Ù²Ü ¼öÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù ±×¸®°í ±×°ÍÀº ¸Å¿ì °£´ÜÇÕ´Ï´Ù. You can copy, move and delete files all over the place: from the device to the SD card, from the SD card to the remote folder etc. Navigating is a bit tricky at first, but I got the hang of it quickly. º¹»çÇÒ ¼öÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù, °÷°÷¿¡ À̵¿ÇÏ°í ÆÄÀÏÀ» »èÁ¦ Àå¼Ò :¿¡¼ ÀåÄ¡¸¦ »ç¿ì ½º´ÙÄÚŸ Ä«µå, »ç¿ì ½º´ÙÄÚŸ Ä«µå¸¦ ¿ø°Ý Æú´õ·Î µî¿¡¼ Ž»öÀº ¾à°£ ±î´Ù·Ó½À´Ï´Ù óÀ½¿¡, ±×·¯³ª ±×°ÍÀÌÀÖ¾î, ÀÀ´äÀ» ½Å¼ÓÇϰÔÇÕ´Ï´Ù. When the program is run for the first time, it offers the option to activate some sort of ¡°mouse mode¡±. ÀÌ ÇÁ·Î±×·¥À» ½ÇÇàÇÒ ¶§ óÀ½À¸·Î, ±×°ÍÀ» Ȱ¼ºÈ ¿É¼ÇÀ» Á¦°øÇÕ´Ï´Ù ¾î¶² Á¾·ùÀÇ "¸¶¿ì½º ¸ðµå". The trackball moves a mouse cursor around and lets you select items. ¸¶¿ì½º Ä¿¼¸¦ À̵¿ ¹× ÁÖº¯ Æ®·¢º¼À» »ç¿ëÇϸé Ç׸ñÀ» ¼±ÅÃÇÕ´Ï´Ù. I hated it. Á¤¸» ½È¾ú¾î¿ä. I thought the movement was too slow and quirky. ²Ò¹Ù¸¥ÀÇ ¿òÁ÷ÀÓÀÌ ³Ê¹« ´À¸®°í »ý°¢ÇÕ´Ï´Ù. Besides, everything is very small in a cell phone screen, so I was forced to scroll sloooowly way too much to hit the target of whatever I was desperately trying to click. ±×¸®°í, ¸ðµç °ÍÀÌ ¸Å¿ì ÀÛÀº ÈÞ´ë ÀüÈ È¸é¿¡¼, ±×·¡¼ °Á¦·Î ½ºÅ©·ÑÀÌ ³Ê¹« ¸¹ÀÌ sloooowly¸¦ °ø°ÝÀÇ ´ë»óÀÌ ÇÊ»çÀûÀ¸·Î ³»°¡ ¹«¾ùÀ»ÇÏ·Á´Â°¡¸¦ Ŭ¸¯ÇÕ´Ï´Ù. After I disabled the unrealistic mouse mode, everything got a lot better and navigating was a breeze. ºñÇö½ÇÀû ¸¶¿ì½º ¸ðµå¸¦ ºñȰ¼ºÈÇÑ ÈÄ, ¸ðµÎ°¡ ¸¹¾Æ ´õ ³ªÀº ¹× Ž»ö´Â ¹ÌdzÇÕ´Ï´Ù. The entire program is very easy to use and seems to work very well. Àüü ÇÁ·Î±×·¥ÀºÀÌ ÀÛµ¿ÇÏ°í »ç¿ëÀÌ ¸Å¿ì Æí¸®ÇÏ°í ¾ÆÁÖ Àß º¸ÀδÙ. I¡¯ve had standalone eFile for some time and never noticed any major bug or inconvenience. ³ª´Â ¾à°£ÀÇ ½Ã°£°ú °áÄÚ ´«Ä¡°¡¿¡ ´ëÇÑ µ¶¸³ ½ÇÇàÇü efile ¸ðµç ÁÖ¿ä ¹ö±× ¶Ç´Â ºÒÆíÀ»ÇÕ´Ï´Ù.
EFile also brings an assistant ePad application, something like a mini Notepad for txt files. efile ¶ÇÇÑ ±×°á°ú Á¶¼ö epad ÀÀ¿ë ÇÁ·Î±×·¥, ¹Ì´Ï ¸Þ¸ðÀå°ú °°Àº ÅØ½ºÆ® ÆÄÀÏÀ»ÇÕ´Ï´Ù. That one component I thought was pretty lame, I don¡¯t think anybody is really going to bother with it. ±× ±¸¼º ¿ä¼Ò°¡ »ó´çÈ÷ ÁÙ ¾Ë¾Ò ¹«´ÉÇØ, ¾Æ¹«µµ ¾Æ´Ñ °Í °°¾Æ ±×°ÍÀÌ ÁøÂ¥·Î Çʿ䰡ÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù. Besides, it froze and made me soft-reset the phone several times. °Ô´Ù°¡, ±×°Í µ¿°á°ú ÀüÈ ¹øÈ£¸¦ ¿©·¯ ¹ø ³¯ ¼ÒÇÁÆ® - Àç¼³Á¤ÇÕ´Ï´Ù.
eOffice eoffice
eOffice starts with a two-story screen: a row of programs and a row of documents that are shown here for easy access. 2 - eoffice·Î ½ÃÀÛÇÏ´Â À̾߱⠽ºÅ©¸° : Çà ÇàÀÇ ÇÁ·Î±×·¥À» ¿©±â¿¡ °ÔÀçµÇ´Â ¹®¼¿¡ ½±°Ô ¾×¼¼½ºÇÕ´Ï´Ù. Two samples are included. µÎ °³ÀÇ »ùÇÃÀÌ Æ÷ÇԵǾîÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù.

eWord eword
The first program is eWord, probably the best of the entire suite. ù ¹øÂ° ÇÁ·Î±×·¥Àº eword, ¾Æ¸¶ ÃÖ°íÀÇ Àüü Á¦Ç°±ºÇÕ´Ï´Ù. Writing is something I do a lot, and eWord was good enough to make me feel at home. ¾²±â°¡ ¹º°¡ ÀÛ¾÷À» ¸¹ÀÌ, ±×¸®°í eword Áý¿¡¼´Â ÀÌ·± »ý°¢ÀÌ µé¾úÀ» Á¤µµ¸é ÃæºÐÇÕ´Ï´Ù. Personally, I think that actually trying to write anything useful into such a small screen with such a tiny keyboard is nothing short of insane. °³ÀÎÀûÀ¸·Î, ³» »ý°¢¿¡ »ç½ÇÀº ±×·¯ÇÑ ½Ãµµ¸¦ ÀÛ¼º ÀÛÀº ȸ鿡 ¾Æ¹«°Íµµ À¯¿ëÇÕ´Ï´Ù¿Í °°Àº ÀÛÀº Űº¸µå°¡ Á¤½Å ³ª°£ ¾Æ¹«°Íµµ ºÎÁ·ÇÕ´Ï´Ù. I was one of the few looking forward to the Palm Foleo, and if that makes me insane, then fine! Àü ¸î Áß Çϳª´Â ÆÊ foleo ±â´ëÇϰí, ±×¸®°í ±× ³¯ ¹ÌÄ¡°Ô ¸¸µç´Ù¸é, ±×·³ ÁÁ¾Æ¿ä! But eWord certainly proves that it is not impossible. ÇÏÁö¸¸ eword È®½ÇÈ÷ Áõ¸íÇÏ´Â °ÍÀº ºÒ°¡´ÉÇÕ´Ï´Ù. The writing area is generous, it takes almost the whole screen. ÈÄÇÑÀÇ ÀÛ¹® ¿µ¿ªÀÌ °É¸³´Ï´Ù Àüü ȸéÀÌ °ÅÀÇ ´ÙÇÕ´Ï´Ù. There is only one on-screen font, but several other fonts can be applied and they do look like they¡¯re supposed to look if you open the document in a desktop application like OpenOffice or MS Office, and this one on-screen font looks pretty good. - ȸ鿡 Çϳª ¹Û¿¡¾ø´Â ±Û²Ã, ±Û²ÃÀ» Àû¿ëÇÒ ¼öÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù ±×·¯³ª, ±×µéÀº ¿©·¯ ´ë¸®·Á󷳸¦ ºÁ µ¥½ºÅ©Åé ÀÀ¿ë ÇÁ·Î±×·¥À¸·Î ¹®¼¸¦ ¿©´Â °æ¿ìó·³ ¹Ì½Ã½ÃÇÇÀ» ¿ ¶Ç´Â »ç¹«½Ç, ±×¸®°íÀÌ »ç¶÷ÀÌ - ½ºÅ©¸° ÆùÆ® º¸ÀÌ´Â ²Ï ÀßÇÕ´Ï´Ù. You can also control the size of the on-screen font from ¡°8¡± to ¡°72¡±. ÀÇ Å©±â¸¦ Á¦¾îÇÒ ¼öÀÖ½À´Ï´Ù - È¸é ±Û²ÃÀ» "8"À» "72". Typing flows just as well as the Blackberry¡¯s keyboard allows a typist to, so a QWERTY phone certainly will be more convenient than a Suretype model. Auto Text works flawlessly and that is some more invaluable help to all of you brave mobile typists out there. ±×°ÍÀÌ Á» ´õ ¿Ïº® ÀÚµ¿ ÅØ½ºÆ®¸¦ ÀÛǰÀÇ ¸ðµç ¿ë±â¸¦ ÁÙ ±ÍÁßÇÑ µµ¿òÀ» ¸ð¹ÙÀÏ typists ¹ÛÇÕ´Ï´Ù.


I was impressed by the number of functions that Dynoplex crammed into this tiny editor. Àü ±â´ÉÀ» °¨¸íÀ» dynoplexÀ» ¼ö»çÀÇ °³¼ö¸¦ÀÌ ÀÛÀº ÆíÁý±â¸¦ÇÕ´Ï´Ù. I wasn¡¯t very happy trying to access the tools in the tool bar above the text editing area, but I was very happy hiding the toolbar, having even more text editing area available and accessing all the tools from the Blackberry¡¯s Menu key. ³ ¸Å¿ì ÇູÀÇ µµ±¸ ¸ðÀ½ÀÇ µµ±¸¿¡ ¾×¼¼½ºÇÏ·Á°í ÇÒ À§¿¡ÀÖ´Â ÅØ½ºÆ® ÆíÁý Áö¿ª, ±×·¯³ª ³ª´Â ¾ÆÁÖ Çູ ¼û±â°í Åø¹Ù¸¦ ¾×¼¼½ºÇÏ´Â µ¥ ´õ ¸¹Àº ÅØ½ºÆ®¸¦ ÆíÁý ¿µ¿ªÀÇ ¸ðµç µµ±¸¸¦ ±¸ÇÒ ¼ö ÀÖ°í, °ËÀºÀÇ ¸Þ´º ŰÇÕ´Ï´Ù. Everything is there and there is very little scrolling involved. ±×¸®°í ¿©±â¿¡´Â ¾ÆÁÖ ÀÛÀº ½ºÅ©·Ñ ¸ðµÎ°¡ Âü¿©ÇÕ´Ï´Ù. Files are opened and saved by means of the integration with eFile, so it looks like you can open and save documents in the phone, the SD card or that remote account folder. Maybe I should point out that I just played around with another spreadsheet application called Grid Magic and that may have influenced my evaluation of eCell a lot. MasterDoc is supposed to be a file viewer, but it didn¡¯t impress me. masterdoc°¡µÇ¾î º¸·Á´Â ÆÄÀÏ ºä¾î, ±íÀº ÀλóÀ»ÇÏÁö¸¸ ±×·¸Áö ¾Ê¾Ò ³ªÇÕ´Ï´Ù. It is supposed to be a spell checker that integrates not only with eOffice, but with the entire device and spell check your musings even in applications that have nothing to do with eOffice or Dynoplex. ¸ÂÃã¹ý °Ë»ç±â¸¦ÇÏ´Â °ÍÀº ¿ø·¡´Â ÅëÇÕ°ú eoffice»Ó¸¸ ¾Æ´Ï¶ó,ÇÏÁö¸¸ ´ç½Å°ú ´ç½ÅÀÇ ÁÖ·ùÀÇ Àüü ÀåÄ¡ ¹× ¸ÂÃã¹ý °Ë»ç´Â ¾Æ¹« »ó°üÀ̾ø´Â ÀÀ¿ë ÇÁ·Î±×·¥¿¡¼µµ eoffice ¶Ç´Â dynoplexÇÕ´Ï´Ù. Having used and tossed eOffice I think your review was actually quite kind. ³» »ý°¢¿¡ ´ç½Å °ËÅä eoffice µ¥ »ç¿ëµÇ°í ´øÁö°í´Â »ç½ÇÀº ²Ï Ä£ÀýÇÕ´Ï´Ù.
I can¡¯t vouch for the current version of eOffice but the nail in the coffin was this little test which I¡¯d appreciate if you could try and then report the results of: ÇöÀç ¹öÀüÀÇ ½Å·Úµµ¸¦ º¸ÀåÇÒ ¼ö¾ø½À´Ï´Ù °ü¼Ó¿¡ ³×ÀÏ eoffice ±×·¯³ªÀÌ ÀÛÀº Å×½ºÆ®´Â ¾î¶² ½ÃµµÇÏ°í ´ÙÀ½À» ¼öÀÖ´Ù¸é ÁÁ°Ú¾î¿ä º¸°í¼ÀÇ °á°ú¸¦ :
1) In cell A1 enter a 1; in cell A2 enter a 2; in cell A3 enter a 3; in cell A4 enter a 4. 1)¿¡ ¼¿À» ÀÔ·ÂÇϰí 1; ¼¿¿¡ ´ë´ä 2 ÀÔ·ÂÇϰí 2; ¼¿¿¡ ´ë´ä 3 ÀÔ·ÂÇϰí 3; ¼¿¿¡ ´ë´ä 4 ÀÔ·Â 4.

I can¡¯t get the eFile Desktop file converter for coverting existing files. efile µ¥½ºÅ©ÅéÀ» ³¾ ¼ö°¡ ¾ø¾î ±âÁ¸ ÆÄÀÏÀ» coverting ÆÄÀÏÀ» º¯È¯ÇÕ´Ï´Ù. It comes up with a Microsoft error message after a few seconds. microsoft ¿À·ù ¸Þ½ÃÁö°¡ ¿Ã¶ó¿Ô½À ¸î ÃÊ ÈÄ¿¡ÇÕ´Ï´Ù. Any solutions? ¸ðµç ¼Ö·ç¼ÇÀ»?

In response to BlackBerry Beard, I tested a new beta version of eOffice recently and tried that test with the SUM function in eCell. °ËÀº ¼ö¿°¿¡ ´ëÀÀÇÏ¿©, ³ªÀÇ º£Å¸ ¹öÀüÀ» Å×½ºÆ® eoffice »õ·Î¿î ½Ãµµ¸¦Çϰí Å×½ºÆ®¸¦ ÃÖ±Ù¿¡ ecellÀÇ ÇÕ°è ±â´ÉÀ»ÇÕ´Ï´Ù. It turns out the sum did not work at all. ³ªÁß¿¡ ¾Ë°í º¸´Ï ¸ðµÎÀÇ ÇÕ°è¿¡¼ ÀÏÇÏ ¾Ê¾ÒÇÕ´Ï´Ù. I reported the problem to Dynoplex and will wait for new versions. dynoplex ³ª´ÂÀÌ ¹®Á¦¸¦º¸°íÇÏ°í »õ ¹öÀüÀ» ±â´Ù¸³´Ï´Ù.
