7 Comments to “ColorWare – Pimp Your BlackBerry With A Custom Paint Job

  1. Those are hot looking, but if ya notice it’s not available for Canadian BB Fans which sucks, you’d have to have a USA addy to send to…then send to colorware…colorware send back to USA address and then from there back to Canada..

seems like a ripoff. why not get a vinyl skin? jrdesigners sells a 3-pack for around ten bucks, and they have 209 designs, solid colors, designs, and chromes. it’ll also add protection without changing the feel of the device. i was unsure about them, so i let my friend buy them first, lol. they hold up really well, and come off without any residue. at least for me, this makes alot more sense.

  3. Austin I guess you have never met a modder before. They dont like decals.
Personally I just stick with the nice crimson red of my 8310. But I can imagine the gray 8830 from verizon is an eyesore :)

Ronen, I realize that many blackberry owners would love to customize and personalize their ‘berry and do not have the resources to do it themselves. (hence my previous comment, seeing as the price is rather steep for something that may void your warranty.)
I have met “modders” (and am one) and understand “modding”, but don’t these “modders” generally prefer to mod their own stuff?
Custom paint is great, but is it truly modding if you send it out to be sprayed by someone else?? If i decide to mod my ‘berry at some point, i won’t be satisfied with a generic paint job i cannot even add a graphic to, and i’ll design it and spray it myself :) :)

  5. Austin I completely agree. That is the reason my BlackBerry is still red and will remain red. The only real semi mod I highly recommend are eGrips. They are these rubbery stickers you put on your device that make them super grippy. This is awesome for klutz’s like me who keep on dropping their berrys
