FlipSide MP3 Player Adds Last.fm Scrobbling Support
Kevin Doel from FlipSide just sent me an email about a new update to the FlipSide MP3 player we told you about before. The new version allows BlackBerry users to get Last.fm auto-scrobbling support with FlipSide. What that means is that when you listen to a song, the name of the song is sent to Last.fm and added to your listeners profile.
FlipSide users may enable scrobbling of the music they play to get better recommendations and share recently played music with friends via blogs, MySpace, or as a forum signature. Kinda cool if I may say so myself. This feature has been available in a few Windows Mobile MP3 players for awhile now so I am glad the Berry is finally catching up
.
If you are interested you can take a tour of FlipSide or download a free trial to check it out. There is an OTA download option if you visit their website www.flipside.fm from your BlackBerry.
