Funny! SmartGlove - Solution for BlackBerry Thumb
I first have to ask forgiveness from anybody who is actually considering buying one of these.
With that said…
I couldn’t stop laughing when I read this post on PopGadget.net. It seems like the orthopedic company IMAK has come out with a glove that is supposed to offer thumb support for users who are experiencing pain while texting. I can’t wait to see people pulling out their “support gloves” on the NYC subway before shooting off an email. 
I also found out that “BlackBerry thumb” now has an official Latin name:
“texting tenosynovitis” - an inflammation of the tendons in the thumb from excessive text messaging
I couldn’t make this stuff up. I love the “designed by Orthopedic surgeon” logo. From IMAK’s website:

I actually saw a parody competition a bit back between the BB and iPhone speed typing. On the other hand my little brother can type on his t9 keyboard without even looking…

Laugh, but this was the only product that actually helped my tendonitis. After months of trying to find a “cure” for my pain, this was as close as I got and worth every penny.

I LOVE this product, I got it on amazon a few months back. It’s the only one that lets me still type and makes my right thumb feel better.
Laugh now, but keep texting- you’ll soon learn to appreciate products like these!
