Verizon OS 4.2 For BlackBerry 8703e Now Available!
Simon at BBcool just caught wind of the 4.2.1 OS update for the BlackBerry 8703e. This is big news for Verizon and CDMA users since they have been left out in the cold since the GSM version of 4.2 has been out for months. The reason so many people care is that many of the new RIM applications require OS 4.2 like Facebook and Gtalk 2. The other feature many people have been waiting for was the ability to play WAV email attachments.
If you happen to be using a BlackBerry 8703e or any other CDMA 8700 series head on over to the Verizon download link to get the new version. Keep in mind that you will also need to use Desktop Manager 4.2 SP2 that you can get over here.
