BlackBerry Pearl 2 8130 Now Available For Pre-Order From Verizon

Robb from RIMarkable has been keeping an eye out on the Verizon pre-order page for the BlackBerry 8130 Pearl 2. The 8130 is now available from Verizon for pre-order with a price tag of $199.99 with a 2 year contract. The phone is scheduled to ship on November 8th so stay tuned.
The interesting thing I saw in the details was that this phone will be shipping with the new 4.3 version of BlackBerry Desktop Manager. The CDMA Pearl 2 does not have GPS like it’s GSM brother but it does have quite a few features that Verizon subscribers have been waiting for:
- 2 MegaPixel camera with flash
- Stereo Bluetooth
- Standard headphone jack
- Video Capture
- MicroSD (They claim up to 8GB cards are accepted!)

I have the VZW 8830. Yes, RIM put a GPS in it but VZW castrated it, i.e. it is not functional. I think a working camera in the Pearl would outweigh an essentially useless GPS in the 8830.
