I’m debating calling up Sprint to ask about this when the time rolls around.
I don’t currently don’t have a laptop, but I plan on getting on in the next six months or so though. How often will I try to use my phone as a modem? I really don’t know until I get the laptop.

With the new plan, I can basically save $10/month, add navigation (which costs $10 already), and get unlimited text messaging (which is costing me $5 due to legacy plan, otherwise, it would be $15).So I end up saving about $15/month and I get a new service only losing the phone as a modem option that I don’t take advantage of now anyway.

    hmmmm.
