  I have an issue where I install Yahoo Messenger 2.0.33 for my Blackberry 8700 and it does not appear in the application list. Ho un problema a causa del quale installare Yahoo Messenger 2.0.33 per il mio BlackBerry 8700 e non appare nella lista l'applicazione. Going to try to find the older version again.   I am so sorry to hear that Ernie. Io sono così spiacenti di apprendere che Ernie. I just heard that the older os 4.1 devices may not work with the new messengers like Gtalk and Yahoo. Ho appena sentito che i vecchi dispositivi os 4.1 potrebbe non funzionare con il nuovo gtalk come messaggeri e Yahoo. I don’t know why RIM did not mention this during the install since they have your device version. Non so perché RIM non ha citato questo durante l'installazione poiché essi hanno la periferica versione. Personally did you try to upgrade your phone to OS 4.2.   My Blackberry is supported through my employer and they’re staying on 4.1 for now. Mio Blackberry è supportato tramite il mio datore di lavoro e che troviate a 4,1 per ora. If anyone can point me to a patch or the older Yahoo version that I can do OTA, I’d appreciate it. Se qualcuno mi può puntare a una patch o la vecchia versione di Yahoo che non posso fare OTA, io ho lo apprezzano.

  Found the solution on another site: Trovato la soluzione su un altro sito:

  “Go to Options/Advanced Options/Applications/Modules then scroll down until you see net_rim_yahoomessenger module (v 1.*.*) and delete it. "Vai a Opzioni / Opzioni avanzate / Applicazioni / Moduli quindi scorrere verso il basso fino a visualizzare net_rim_yahoomessenger modulo (v 1 .*.*) e cancellarlo. After it deletes, the device will reboot, and when it comes back on, the error is gone and the icon is there. Dopo che sopprime, il dispositivo verrà riavviato, e quando si ritorna a, l'errore è andato e l'icona è lì.

  I just updated my YM from v1 to v2. Ho appena aggiornato il mio YM da v1 a v2. How come the V1 icon is still there after I deleted the application before I installed the V2? Come mai la V1 icona è ancora lì dopo aver eliminato l'applicazione prima di aver installato il V2? How can I delete the icon? Come faccio a eliminare l'icona? Thank you… La ringrazio…

  I just recently upgraded my YM for BB from V1 to V2. Ho appena aggiornato il mio YM per BB da V1 a V2. Apparently after I deleted the previous version V1 and installed the new Version V2, I can still see the icon from V1 though not working. Apparentemente dopo aver eliminato la precedente versione V1 e installato la nuova versione V2, posso ancora vedere l'icona da V1 se non funziona. Can anybody help me about this? Nessuno può aiutarmi su questo? How can I delete the old version icon. Come faccio a eliminare la vecchia versione icona.

  Farnet you can try to delete the module separately. Farnet si può provare a eliminare il modulo separatamente. Go into settings-advanced settings->applications>menubutton>modules and find the ones that say gtalk in them and delete ahoy. Andare in impostazioni-impostazioni avanzate-> applicazioni> menubutton> moduli e trovare quelli che dicono gtalk in loro e cancellare il palaconcerti AHOY. You may want to also remove V2 in the applications screen before doing this. È possibile che si desideri rimuovere V2 anche in applicazioni di schermo prima di fare questo.
