GooSync Now Synchronizes Your Contacts To Google

goosynccontacts.gifI know many of our readers use the Free GooSync.com service to synchronize their calendar with Google Calendar. It seems that GooSync has found a way to also synchronize your contacts along with your calendar from your BlackBerry to Google. The caveat is that the contact sync is only available for premium customers. The premium tag costs about $40 a year but is well worth it as an alternative to a BES hosting provider. Now that they have contacts and calendar sync are any of you thinking of canceling your BES? Check out the details here.

Is canceling the BES really a thought worth?

I think the most companies has his own BES, because security for their data including email, calendar…. is important.

I don’t know if it is a good idea to use the Google Calendar, Google Addressbook or even Google Mail for busniness critical data.

With GooSync, there is another third party where my data goes through.

For me there is no reason out there to move away from my own BES server.

  2. Truthfully I would never give up on my BES. But truthfully I love the Gmail threaded conversations and I wish Exchange would have a feature like that… Personally I have never used Goosync but I am sure there are interested people out there. Personally I just love the rock solid reliablity provided by the Message Center
