Bloglines Web-based RSS Reader Mobile Beta Open For Public Consumption
I was reading an article by Dennis at WapReview.com about the new beta version of Bloglines Mobile. I know many BlackBerry users that swear by Bloglines so I decided to announce it for those who did not know about this new Beta. In case you don’t know what Bloglines is: [from Wikipedia]
Bloglines is a web-based news aggregator for browsing weblogs and other news feeds via syndicated feeds utilizing technologies such as Really Simple Syndication and ATOM. Unlike other feed readers that download posts directly to one’s device, Bloglines is a server-side aggregation system, where blog entries are downloaded and updated on the server on a frequent basis.
The mobile version of Bloglines allows you to view and sync your feeds by viewing them in the BlackBerry browser. The new beta supposedly brings some new features to the table and breaks some of the old ones that users were enjoying on their BlackBerry’s. Check out the new beta at m.beta.bloglines.com or from your desktop at beta.bloglines.com
