The Message Center BES Hosting Raises Storage To 1GB

themessagecenterlogobyme.gifPreviously I had mentioned that I was looking into alternative BES hosting companies and last month I changed to TheMessageCenter.com and have been quite happy since. This past week they sent me an email that their already generous 500MB of storage would be increased for all users to 1GB for free. Personally I think this is amazing since I could really use the extra space. I just thought I would let everybody know about the new update since my old BES hosting company was charging me the same price of $9.99 for only 200MB of Exchange space. They also have no BlackBerry activation fee and a 90 day money back guarantee if you just want to try them out. Check out the new rate plans over at TheMessageCenter.com

If you don’t already have a BES I just wanted to share one of the experiences where my BES saved my @$$. My old device died and when I received a replacement I activated it with TheMessageCenter. It turns out that practically everything on you BlackBerry is constantly being backed up to the BES server. I used to think that it only stored the basics such as email, contacts, calendar, tasks, and notes. It actually stores every one of your settings, customizations, options, profiles, even your font choices. I was back up and running a few minutes after I activated. The only downside is that it does not store your 3rd party information or your BrickBreaker scores =).
