The new case builds upon the older 8800 case and has the same hybrid rubber backing and crystal cover. They still need to work a bit to slim down the plastic near the keyboard and trackball but otherwise the case is a great fit and gives me that extra grip that prevents me from dropping the device. The Review Unit: The review is the standard hybrid case for the BlackBerry 8300 series. De Review Unit: De herziening is de standaard hybride geval voor de BlackBerry 8300-serie. The case does come in an all crystal and all rubber version but the review unit has a crystal front and a rubber back. De zaak gaat komen in een all crystal en alle rubberen versie, maar de evaluatie unit heeft een kristal voorkant en een rubber rug. Hence the name hybrid. Vandaar de naam hybride. There is no fancy packaging as the case comes in a simple plastic bag.Once opened, and you get your hands on it, You can see immediately how the case works. Er is geen fancy verpakking als de zaak wordt geleverd in een simpele plastic bag.Once geopend, en krijg je je handen op, kunt U ziet meteen hoe de zaak werkt. It has two pieces that snap together to cover the front and back of your device. Het heeft twee stukken die snap samen naar de voor-en achterzijde van het apparaat te dekken.
The front of the case is quite nice inside the case and does not add much thickness to the device. De voorzijde van de zaak is heel mooi in de zaak en niet veel toe te voegen aan dikte van het apparaat. On the other hand it does not have the same drop protection you would see from the Aan de andere kant heeft het niet dezelfde daling bescherming die u zou zien van de heavy duty OtterBox zware OtterBox . .
In my opinion Seidio could have done a better job with tapering the plastic on the edges of the keyboard and above the trackball. Naar mijn mening kunnen doen Seidio een betere baan met taps toelopende het plastic aan de randen van het toetsenbord en boven de trackball. As you can see in the pictures above and below it encroaches on your navigation and typing areas. Zoals u kunt zien op de foto's boven en onder het inbreuk maakt op uw navigatie en typen gebieden.
The top of the case has cutouts for the mute button, earpiece, and indicator light. De top van de zaak heeft uitsparingen voor de mute-knop, oorstuk,  en indicator licht. There are also small cutouts for the speaker phone but they tend to muffle and distort the speaker sound. Er zijn ook kleine uitsparingen voor de luidspreker, maar ze hebben de neiging te dempen en de luidspreker geluid verstoren. The bottom of the case has a nice mold to it that lets it slip in and out of your pocket. De onderkant van de zaak heeft een mooie schimmel te waarmee het glijden in en uit je zak.
The sides of the case have cutouts for all the ports and buttons. De zijkanten van de zaak hebben uitsparingen voor alle poorten en knoppen. I hope that in the next version Seidio finds a way to include a more rubberized grip on the sides. The back of the case is covered in the Seidio grippy plastic but has cutouts for the camera. De achterkant van de zaak wordt behandeld in de Seidio grip plastic, maar heeft uitsparingen voor de camera. There is another cutout on the back that does not seem to have any purpose at all and kind of throws off the look but it does not hamper the protection provided by the case. Er is nog een uitsparing aan de achterkant, die niet lijkt aan welk doel en op alle soorten hebben werpt de blik af, maar het geen belemmering vormt voor de bescherming geboden door de zaak. The last cutout was thoughtfully placed by Seidio for the charging contacts on the back of the BlackBerry curve but currently those have no use until RIM releases a charging station. De laatste uitsnede is bedachtzaam geplaatst door RIM voor de heffing contacten op de achterkant van de BlackBerry curve, maar die momenteel geen gebruik tot RIM releases een laadstation. It really shows that Seidio is futureproofing their case. Het toont echt dat Seidio hun zaak is futureproofing.
As with the 8800 case the joints that hold the two sides of the case together mesh VERY well. Net als bij de 8800 het geval de gewrichten, dat houd de twee kanten van de zaak samen maas ZEER goed. There is no ‘looseness’ to it, and no squeaking either. The case is thin enough to not feel weird when holding it to your head on a phone call and easily slips into a coat or pants pocket. Er is geen â € ~ loosenessâ € ™ aan, en geen piepende either. De zaak is dun genoeg om niet raar gevoel bij het voeren van het aan uw hoofd op een telefoontje en glijdt gemakkelijk in een jas of broekzak. I would recommend adding a screen protector if you plan on placing the case in a bag or purse. Ik zou aanraden het toevoegen van een screen protector als u van plan bent het plaatsen van de zaak in een zak of tas hebt. Personally I wish that Seidio had chosen to build a screen protector into the case like Vaja does with many of their cases, Persoonlijk wil ik dat Seidio had gekozen om een screen protector te bouwen in het geval als Vaja heeft met veel van hun gevallen
Pros: Pros:

Cons: Minpunten
- The case could use more tapered edges near the keyboard and trackball De zaak kon gebruiken meer taps toelopende randen in de buurt van het toetsenbord en trackball
- Extra cutout on back has no purpose Extra uitsparing op de rug heeft geen doel
- No built in screen protector Geen gebouwd in screen protector
Conclusion: Once again Seidio has come out with a solid case but it could still use some refinements before I would give it an editors choice award. Conclusie: Opnieuw Seidio naar buiten is gekomen met een solide zaak, maar het kan nog enkele verfijningen gebruiken voordat ik zou het een Editors Choice award. The rubberized back is a godsend and really helps when it comes to not dropping your device. De rubberen rug is een godsgeschenk en echt helpt als het gaat om uw toestel niet laten vallen. It also allows you to put your BlackBerry on your dashboard diagonally and it will not slip off. Ook kunt u op uw BlackBerry op uw dashboard diagonaal en die voortaan niet glijden. The price is not to bad at 29.95 and it provides some good protection without adding all the weight that heavy duty cases require. De prijs is niet slecht om 29.95 en het biedt een goede bescherming zonder toevoeging van al het gewicht dat zware gevallen vereisen. If you are in the market for a hard case I would highly recommend this hybrid. Als u in de markt voor een harde zaak I would highly recommend this hybride. It is also available with a holster that is designed to accept the Curve in the case for an extra $20. Het is ook verkrijgbaar met een holster dat is ontworpen om de Bocht in het geval aanvaarden voor een extra $ 20.
