When I spoke to the vendor they were adamant that the speaker cutout was for the camera. Even after I had shown them pictures they still could not explain it. I am really glad that you could share that info. Do you know when they will be coming out with this new rear cover? I will update the review soon to reflect the info you provided. Chris,
