Μια πλάτη κομματιών κάναμε το α μίνι αναθεώρηση του Seidio HardCase για το βατόμουρο 8800 και σήμερα θα καλύπτουμε την περίπτωση για την καμπύλη 8300 σε βάθος. Η νέα υπόθεση χτίζει επάνω στην παλαιότερη περίπτωση 8800 και έχει την ίδια υβριδική λαστιχένια κάλυψη υποστήριξης και κρυστάλλου. Πρέπει ακόμα να λειτουργήσουν λίγο λεπτό σε κάτω το πλαστικό κοντά στο πληκτρολόγιο και trackball αλλά ειδάλλως η περίπτωση είναι μεγάλη μια κατάλληλη και με δίνει ότι πρόσθετο πιάσιμο που με αποτρέπει από τη ρίψη της συσκευής. Διαπίστωσα ότι Seidio έχει κάνει μια θαυμάσια εργασία στην κράτηση της περίπτωσης λεπτής παρέχοντας κάποια πραγματική προστασία για την καμπύλη σας. Διαβάστε την πλήρη αναθεώρηση μετά από το άλμα
Η μονάδα αναθεώρησης: Η αναθεώρηση είναι η τυποποιημένη υβριδική περίπτωση για το βατόμουρο 8300 σειρές. Η περίπτωση έρχεται σε ένα όλα crystal και όλη τη λαστιχένια έκδοση αλλά η μονάδα αναθεώρησης έχει ένα μέτωπο κρυστάλλου και μια λαστιχένια πλάτη. Ως εκ τούτου το υβρίδιο ονόματος. Δεν υπάρχει καμία φαντασία συσκευάζοντας καθώς η περίπτωση έρχεται σε μια απλή πλαστική τσάντα. Μόλις ανοιχτούν, και παίρνετε τα χέρια σας σε το, μπορείτε να δείτε αμέσως πώς η περίπτωση λειτουργεί. Έχει δύο κομμάτια που σπάζουν απότομα μαζί για να καλύψουν το μέτωπο και το πίσω μέρος της συσκευής σας.
Το μέτωπο της περίπτωσης είναι αρκετά συμπαθητικό μέσα στην περίπτωση και δεν προσθέτει πολύ πάχος στη συσκευή. Αφ' ενός δεν έχει την ίδια προστασία πτώσης που θα βλέπατε από βαρέων καθηκόντων OtterBox.
Κατά τη γνώμη μου Seidio θα μπορούσε να έχει κάνει μια καλύτερη εργασία με να εκλεπτύνει το πλαστικό στις άκρες του πληκτρολογίου και επάνω από trackball. Δεδομένου ότι μπορείτε να δείτε στις εικόνες ανωτέρω και κάτω από το καταπατά στις περιοχές σας ναυσιπλοΐας και δακτυλογράφησης.
Η κορυφή της περίπτωσης έχει τις διακοπές για το βουβό φως κουμπιών, ακουστικών, Â και δεικτών. Υπάρχουν επίσης μικρές διακοπές για το τηλέφωνο ομιλητών αλλά τείνουν να καλύψουν και να διαστρεβλώσουν τον ήχο ομιλητών. Το κατώτατο σημείο της περίπτωσης έχει μια συμπαθητική φόρμα σε το που το αφήνει να γλιστρήσει μέσα και έξω από την τσέπη σας.
Οι πλευρές της περίπτωσης έχουν τις διακοπές για όλους τους λιμένες και τα κουμπιά. I hope that in the next version Seidio finds a way to include a more rubberized grip on the sides.
The back of the case is covered in the Seidio grippy plastic but has cutouts for the camera. There is another cutout on the back that does not seem to have any purpose at all and kind of throws off the look but it does not hamper the protection provided by the case. The last cutout was thoughtfully placed by Seidio for the charging contacts on the back of the BlackBerry curve but currently those have no use until RIM releases a charging station. It really shows that Seidio is futureproofing their case.
As with the 8800 case the joints that hold the two sides of the case together mesh VERY well. There is no ‘looseness’ to it, and no squeaking either. The case is thin enough to not feel weird when holding it to your head on a phone call and easily slips into a coat or pants pocket. I would recommend adding a screen protector if you plan on placing the case in a bag or purse. Personally I wish that Seidio had chosen to build a screen protector into the case like Vaja does with many of their cases,
Pros:
- Â Strong tight fit
- Rubberized back gives you a nice grip
- Cutouts do not hamper functionality
- Case slips easily into a pocket or purse
Cons:
- The case could use more tapered edges near the keyboard and trackball
- Extra cutout on back has no purpose
- No built in screen protector
Conclusion: Once again Seidio has come out with a solid case but it could still use some refinements before I would give it an editors choice award. The rubberized back is a godsend and really helps when it comes to not dropping your device. It also allows you to put your BlackBerry on your dashboard diagonally and it will not slip off. The price is not to bad at 29.95 and it provides some good protection without adding all the weight that heavy duty cases require. If you are in the market for a hard case I would highly recommend this hybrid. It is also available with a holster that is designed to accept the Curve in the case for an extra $20.

The opening next to the camera opening on the Seidio case is for a speaker cut out that Seidio will be offering on a new rear cover for the Blackberry curve for better sound when using the speaker.

Its funny that you mention that. When I spoke to the vendor they were adamant that the speaker cutout was for the camera. Even after I had shown them pictures they still could not explain it. I am really glad that you could share that info. Do you know when they will be coming out with this new rear cover?
I will update the review soon to reflect the info you provided.
