samecell.gif SameCell SameCell is a free BlackBerry application that notifies you if you have friends nearby. BlackBerry is een gratis toepassing die je waarschuwt als je vrienden hebt in de buurt. The application uses cell towers to get your location so you do not need to own a GPS BlackBerry or GPS Bluetooth puck for the service to work. De applicatie maakt gebruik van cel torens om uw locatie zodat u niet hoeft te BlackBerry een GPS of GPS Bluetooth eigen puck voor de dienst te werken. The application cannot give you the exact location of your friend so once your nearby you will have to figure that out on your own. This application gave me a few hours of fun at work but I have yet to find a valid use for it other than pure entertainment.
